The relevant abilities available to the [Faceless One’s Head] were now active.

Han Dong was now pondering to himself, “The abilities that my head provided are impersonation and the portable prison… I can easily understand what the first ability is, which is basically similar to transfiguration.”
Previously, when Han Dong had first obtained the head, he had automatically changed his facial features to what he looked like when he was alive.
After acquiring this body, he had also perfectly copied the looks of the youth.
“This second ability… Is it like a combination of quantum technology and some sort of magic?”
The moment Han Dong had successfully taken over the physical body, a steel door materialized inside his sea of consciousness. When he tried to touch the steel door through his consciousness, a short burst of tinnitus rang in his ears that was accompanied by a short loss of consciousness.
When he reopened his eyes, Han Dong was inside a cramped and pitch black prison.
He was inside a prison in every sense of realism, and it was not merely just an image that he consciously conjured up.
The size of this prison was small, which basically consisted of just a single corridor, a cell, and a backroom… It was completely different from the Prison he had been searching for carriers before.
Aside from the backroom, the entire place was no more than 30 square meters.
“This is the so-called subspace containment technology? A subspace created through a brain’s subjective consciousness… How very miraculous.”
The aisle was very ordinary, and there was hardly anything worth noting about this space. Han Dong first stepped into the cell that was enclosed with metal bars and immediately discovered something strange.
The cell looked as if it was made from ordinary black rocks from his initial glance, but upon closer examination, he discovered that there were plenty of tentacles wiggling ever so slightly between the gaps of the black rocks.
“Previously, there were similar tentacles that grew out from my neck when I was depending on just my head to move about. However, its form was closer to that of mycelium… Yet these here are very different from that.”
But wherever there were gaps, Han Dong could see the dark tentacles wiggling back and forth… Staring at it for long made him feel very uncomfortable.
That was when a system prompt sounded.

[Faceless One’s Prison]
Subject compatibility: Perfect (User has perfect control of the Prison, with no backlash for over-utilization)
Size: Very small, number of lifeforms able to be contained: 1 (Level up Faceless One’s Head in order to increase the size of the Prison)
How to use: When the target lifeform is in a state of weakness, making contact with the body and activating the portable prison would allow the user to contain it within.
Please note:
When [Faceless One’s Head] levels up, the load requirement would increase. Please leave at least 50 points in advance otherwise it will fail to level.
Please do not attempt to contain a subject that is in good condition. The moment containment fails, the user will end up taking extensive damage, and the Prison will also suffer certain damage as well.
During special circumstances or when under attack from other living creatures, the user will be unable to transfer into the Portable Prison.

“Faceless One’s Prison? Able to contain lifeforms?”
Han Dong immediately thought of the Mutant that had chased after the metal horse carriage in this world.
As for containing a normal human being, Han Dong would not even entertain such a thought… Keeping a human in containment would be considered criminal behavior, and that was where Han Dong drew the line.
If he was able to contain a mutant or some sort of magical creature, then he would be able to study it from a biological standpoint.
For the moment, Han Dong stepped out of the cell which made his skin crawl looking at it and turned his attention toward the backroom right next to it.
Peeking through the gaps of the outer black stones, he could see the completely sealed room, even making out the white metallic wall within.
The door to this Backroom was sealed shut with a thick and heavy metal door, requiring someone to turn the hydraulic valve beside the door in order to open. Han Dong had originally thought that it would be very difficult for this weak body he was presently assimilated with to have the strength to turn the valve, but who would have guessed that the moment his palm touched the disc shaped valve wheel, it was like it recognized Han Dong’s biosign and the valve automatically turned itself.
The heavy metal door grundled loudly as it swung outward. The moment he stepped into the backroom, the sense of oppression and danger that he felt from the prison disappeared.
Han Dong lifted the anti-bacterial film and stepped through a narrow buffer room.
The very familiar sight of a sterile laboratory appeared before his eyes…. Clean white walls, a controlled temperature, and humidity with an adjustable light setting. This was a stark contrast with the prison outside. However, compared to the laboratory that Han Dong used in his previous life… this sterile room was much smaller in comparison, and the equipment at his disposal was not exactly as comprehensive.
Inside was a clean bench that was placed squarely against the wall, with a display case right in the center of the room.
The former was used for bacterial inoculation experiments, while the latter was a glass case with a special syringe placed inside.
“This… Why is there a sterile laboratory inside this prison? Could this be related to the cells?”
Han Dong circled around the display case and stood in front of the clean bench. He was surprised to find a mass of cells about the size of his finger inhabiting a petri dish on it, exactly like Han Dong’s physical appearance when he was reborn. His intuition was telling him that if this mass of cells were to die, he would also be dead as well.
Just as Han Dong touched the console, a series of prompts sounded once more
*****************************************
After killing certain special lifeforms, you would be able to extract ‘cell essence’ by using the corpse syringe.
The cell essence collected can then be injected into the cell body via performing an aseptic operation, increasing the load upper limit in accordance with the quality and quantity of the cell essence.
Please note:
The Corpse Syringe can be used at your will. It is fine even if it gets destroyed.
The Corpse Syringe can only be used on special lifeforms that have not been dead for over 5 minutes. There’s no way to retrieve the cell essence on corpses and bodies that have been dead for too long a time.
The cell essence from each corpse can only be extracted once.

After hearing this information, Han Fong quickly turned his head toward the syringe that was placed in the case.
It had a transparent barrel with a brass needle and copper casing.
“This is the method to increase the load value of my cells!”
Han Dong was very excited. A problem that had been bugging him had been solved, so what he needed to determine after was what constituted ‘special lifeforms’.
As long as he was able to increase the limit of his load value, Han Dong would be able to take control of even stronger physical bodies.
“I still know too little about the world around me… So that’s pretty much the extent that I can understand of this portable prison for now.”
Han Dong moved back into the corridor and when he pushed open the door to exit the prison, he was instantly brought back to the spot he was in, underneath the large oak tree.
There was no one around, so Han Dong tried to retrieve the syringe.
Sure enough, the moment he consciously thought about retrieving the syringe, an intricate syringe with its copper casing directly appeared in his hand… And when he thought for it to be stowed away, the syringe automatically melded under his skin. Han Dong felt a vague numbness in his palm during the entire process.
“There’s still plenty of secrets to uncover in that prison… This should do for now. I should first deal with this youth’s business at hand.”
Han Dong had a clear thought process.
Obtaining a physical body was the easiest step. Next would be to familiarize and accustom himself to his living environment, so as to avoid letting others realize that Nicholas Valen was already a different person. Furthermore, the countdown of the bracelet on Han Dong’s wrist made him very uneasy.
