My Left Eye Can See Ghosts - Chapter 54
Chapter 54: Curse You
“Little bastard, you have guts!” He pointed at me and cursed fiercely.
I swallowed my dry throat and tried to speed up, but my body seemed to freeze in fear and panic.
Am I going to fall into the hands of this disgusting, perverted teacher today?
Definitely not!
I should’ve known not to drive Ming Si away. He just left and wouldn’t come back so soon.
I gnashed my teeth with hatred, but there was nothing I could do in this situation.
What to do…?
“Elder sister, quick! Run away!” The little boy yelled at me, anxiously.
I wanted to run, but my hands and feet were tied up. I have to struggle even to stand up, how am I supposed to run?
Teacher Four-eyes finally managed to stand up. He approached me step by step with his trembling legs.
“Mmph mmph…”
He must not come close to me. If he gets closer, I will bite my tongue and commit suicide!
Just as this thought flashed through my mind, and a gust of wind blew past me. I shrank from the cold to see a black shadow flash past my eyes like a sharp arrow, and I looked again. Who else would the black shadow be other than Ming Si?
“Mmph mmph mmph…”
I called out ‘elder brother,’ but no sound except for muffles could come out because of the tape on my mouth. I couldn’t restrain the excitement in my heart.
Ming Si appeared in time, but it would have been better if he showed up earlier. With that, I would not have needed to use my head to knock Teacher Four-eyes’ head.
I stared at Ming Si widely. He snapped his fingers effortlessly, and Teacher Four-eyes started hitting and kicking himself. He even knocked his head against the wall. He let out a painful cry with every hit.
Red blood started dripped down from his head, and his cries were horrifying.
“Student Sixi, please spare my life. Spare me. I won’t dare to do anything anymore.”
Teacher Four-eyes knocked his head against the wall while crying to me.
Ming Si stared at me. The moment I met his eyes, the ropes on my hands and feet suddenly loosened.
I hurriedly broke free from the rope and tore off the tape on my mouth. A ‘hiss’ sound could be heard, and my mouth instantly felt painful.
I got up with a grin, quickly ran to Ming Si’s side, and subconsciously grabbed his arm.
He lowered his eyes to look at me. The anger in his eyes had not subsided.
“How do you want him to die?”
I was stunned.
He asked me how I wanted Teacher Four-eyes to die?
“Can you send him to the police station?”
…
He frowned, and his face looked angry. He hugged my shoulder, and he stared coldly at Teacher Four-eyes, who was still hitting against the wall.
“He is all yours. Do whatever you want,” He lowered his voice.
I was shocked. Who was he talking to? It didn’t sound like he was talking to me.
I was just about to ask him, when a female ghost with disheveled hair emerged. She wore pink dress-style pajamas. Her two long, pale and bloodless legs were exposed to the air. She looked about my age, and there were noticeable cut scars on the wrist hanging by the side of her body.
Was she the girl that was targetted by Teacher Four-eyes and committed suicide by cutting her wrist?
“Thank you, Hades,” The girl spoke in a gloomy voice. Her eyes that were almost half-hidden by her bangs stared at Teacher Four-eyes bitterly. She gritted her teeth and said, “I’m going to take your life!”
I wanted to know what would happen next, but Ming Si’s big cold hand suddenly stretched out and covered my eyes.
He hugged me and walked me out of the dark and dirty room very carefully. His steps were neither fast nor slow.
We left the room with damp air, and all I could hear were agonizing screams that came from behind.
It was the sound of Teacher Four-eyes shouting.
He’ll probably be… killed by the female ghost.
Ming Si hugged me, and we walked for a long time before he removed the hand covering my eyes. The warm sun shone on my body, and it felt warm.
I looked up at him. He still looked mad.
“This is the result of you driving me away,” He said coldly.
I was dumbfounded.
“In the end, I’m the only one who can save you! Will you chase me away again next time?” His tone was somewhat arrogant.
I didn’t know what to say. I did regret driving Ming Si away for a split second. If he were there, I would not have encountered such a horrifying experience.
“Not anymore,” I whispered.
He raised his brows slightly, and his tone eased a lot, “I can’t hear what you said.”
He clearly heard it, but was still pretending.
“Not anymore,” I raised my voice.
“I can’t hear you.”
I took a deep breath, pulled his ears, and shouted, “Not anymore.”
He didn’t dislike my loud voice but laughed out loud instead.
“It’s good that you know that you wouldn’t have lived past today without me.”
He was in high spirits and looked proud.
What else can I say? He was telling the truth. Without him, I would have died tragically when Silly Er possessed me. How could I have lived until today?
This was precisely what Shang Yi said. I might be able to live for a few more years by using yin to suppress yin.
I didn’t know how Shang Yi and Ming Si agreed on necrogamy, but I owed it to Ming Si to live well today.
He was my savior, my benefactor, and the unique existence in my life.
“Sixi! Why are you not in the infirmary? Where did you go?”
I could hear Cheng Fengfeng’s shout even before I could even see her.
I looked at the direction of the sound. I saw Cheng Fengfeng waving at me desperately from a distance. She ran toward me quickly with a worried look on her face.
I stopped and waited for her to run to me. Out of breath, she yelled, “Why were you running around? I went to the infirmary to find you, only to find out you were not there.”
“What infirmary?”
“Teacher Four-eyes said you had Hypoglycemia and sent you to infirmary.”
Curse him!
I was speechless.
Teacher Four-eyes…
He deserved to die. Serves him right to be killed by the female ghost.
Ming Si stood beside me silently aside. His hands were behind his back, and he stood like a soldier.
He looked like a patron saint. Whenever I encountered danger, he would always show up in a heroic posture at the critical moment. It was amazing just thinking about it.
How did he sense that I was in danger?
“Sixi, why are you dazing out?”
Cheng Fengfeng’s voice brought back my thoughts.
She said, “Where did you go just now? Why are your clothes so dirty like you just rolled on the ground?”
“I fell just now.”
“Your face is also so dirty. You must have fallen flat on your face!” She couldn’t help but laugh at me, not forgetting to raise her hand to wipe the dust on my face.
Ming Si faintly curled his lips. He touched my head and whispered, “You can go and do whatever you want to do.”
I smiled at him. Cheng Fengfeng seemed to notice that something was not right with me and quickly hid behind me.
She grabbed my arm and asked me quietly, “Sixi, is there a ghost here?”
“En.”
“Oh my god! Don’t scare me. My little heart can’t handle being tormented by you anymore.”
