NETS – Chapter 272 – Replantation Pellet
The tall one walked to the front. He wore a scholar’s robe and looked like a great sage. For a moment, Lu Ping almost mistook him as Enlightened Master Jiang Xuan-Lin.
Behind the tall man was a long-necked youth with a singular horn on his head. He looked curiously everywhere, as if it was his first time out in the world.
When they arrived at the central cloud, the tall man bowed slightly, and greeted, “Great Ancestor, forgive Yan Wu-Jiu for coming uninvited.”
Great Ancestor Hong Ye slightly leaned forward in return, and said, “Fellow Yan, it is our Northern League’s honor to have you here!”
Then, the Great Ancestor raised his hand to invite Yan Wu-Jiu to have a seat. Yan Wu-Jiu pointed to the young cultivator behind him, and said, “This is the disciple I accepted some years ago, he is quite talented at alchemy. I intended on letting him join the others, so that he could learn from them, but we’re unexpectedly late and didn’t make it before the conference began. I hope the Great Ancestor can make an exception and let him join from the second stage.”
Great Ancestor Hong Ye was slightly surprised upon hearing the pleading tone of Yan Wu-Jiu’s words. He looked at the young cultivator, and then said, “Since Fellow Yan has asked this, I have no reason not to allow it. But I do wonder what the other Enlightened Masters think?”
Enlightened Master Kun Shan and the others looked at each other. They simply didn’t dare to say no to the Great Ancestor, so they said, “It is all up to the Great Ancestor’s command.”
Although the alchemists weren’t happy with the young monster alchemist’s addition to the Alchemy Conference, no one was stupid enough to object to the Great Ancestor’s decision.
Whilst Lu Ping was puzzled as to why a monster alchemist would suddenly be involved in the conference, that was beyond his status. After all, Lu Ping was just a rogue cultivator here and was nothing compared to the major powers of the East Ocean. He wasn’t even fit to be a pawn for them.
The white clouds underneath Lu Ping formed the obscure cloud room, preventing him from being clearly seen. Out of curiosity, he reached out with his divine revelation to the other alchemists and noticed that there was a layer of seals that blocked it from penetrating into their cloud rooms.
In other words, they could only vaguely observe each other’s movements with their eyes, which obviously wasn’t as clear as using divine sense or divine revelation.
This allowed the alchemists to safely perform their secret techniques without the fear of being exposed. It was truly a wonderful precaution imposed by the Northern League. However, Lu Ping was still wary of the seals, not entirely believing that the Northern League wouldn’t be secretly observing the alchemists through those same seals.
Lu Ping read the contents of the jade scroll on the cloud table. This time, the jade scroll contained two pellet recipes, one of which was the Humanization Pellet that he was familiar with.
Humanization Pellets were created for Late Blood Condensation Realm monster cultivators to grasp their human forms before reaching the Core Forging Realm. Lu Ping initially wanted to concoct the pellets for Lu Qin, but she refused to take them as she didn’t want to look half-humanized.
On the other hand, the snake trio were looking forward to consuming the pellets. However, they insisted on only consuming the pellets when they reached the Ninth Layer Blood Condensation Realm.
After setting up the cauldron, Lu Ping hesitated for a moment before he took out the Scarlet Ibis Fire once again to concoct the pellets. His swift actions surprised Yue Jiang-Rui and those watching him.
Yue Jiang-Rui sneered coldly and took out the same white fire that he had used before. Then, after he made several hand signs, the fire beasts carved onto the cauldron body suddenly moved and blasted out a red, green, purple, and yellow fire, from each of their mouths. The four fires combined with the white fire, creating a five-color fire that burned vigorously underneath the cauldron.
Senior Martial Brother Ye and Senior Martial Brother Qi also quietly sped up their progress.
Senior Martial Brother Ye’s fire bird had changed from the original light orange to a much darker color. It majestically circled in the air then rushed down towards the cauldron’s bottom. A thin line of fire shot out from the fire bird’s mouth, causing even the cloud room to slightly shake.
Senior Martial Brother Qi’s fire fox had transformed into a snow-white fox, with its wagging tail unleashing a series of bright white flames. A moment later, Senior Martial Brother Qi also began adding the spirit herbs into the cauldron.
Lu Ping’s alchemy for the Humanization Pellets went smoothly, giving him the luxury of observing the others around him. He noticed that everyone had different types of alchemy fire that they could use, while he only had the Scarlet Ibis Fire and the Azure Spirit Fire.
Usually, alchemists would use different types of fire depending on the nature of different medicinal pellets. Doing this would smoothen the process and improve the quality of the medicinal pellets. Hence, alchemists were usually on lookout for different alchemy fires.
However, that was not the case for Lu Ping. Unlike typical alchemists, Lu Ping was still an orthodox cultivator at heart. He only practiced alchemy because it enhanced his cultivation progress. Hence, improving his alchemy wasn’t his main focus.
Although Lu Ping didn’t use the Azure Spirit Fire, his secret purification technique and divine revelation still allowed him to attain a sixty percent success rate. After opening the cauldron lid, the six pellets flew out as if they were trying to avoid being collected by Lu Ping.
“How surprising, the Li Clan’s alchemist actually concocted half-spirituality Humanization Pellets.”

Enlightened Master Qin said, as he and the other Master Alchemists commented on the various alchemists’ performances.
“It’s not bad compared to the other elite alchemists, but far away from the alchemy geniuses from the major sects like Zhou Chuang and Ning Shi-Ze. Even Yue Jiang-Rui is better than him. Unless he still has other tricks up his sleeves, he’ll lose the bet for certain. Having said that, his performance ensures the Li Clan’s position as a medium party.”
Enlightened Master Kun Shan casually swept a glance in Lu Ping’s direction and spoke.

“Enlightened Master Kun, don’t forget about Yan Wu-Jiu’s disciple.”
Enlightened Master Kun Shan glanced over at Yan Wu-Jiu’s disciple. He suddenly looked a little shocked as if discovering a secret, but he quickly concealed his expression. However, the Enlightened Masters here were all experienced people, so they naturally noticed his shock.
The Enlightened Masters looked at the young man and also discovered the same thing as Enlightened Master Kun Shan. They exchanged a look and secretly glanced at Yan Wu-Jiu, who was conversing with Great Ancestor Hong Ye.
The Enlightened Masters had a hint of scorn, envy, and jealousy in their eyes. When they saw Yan Wu-Jiu and Great Ancestor Hong Ye’s solemn faces, their hearts also turned solemn.
At this time, Lu Ping had already started concocting the second medicinal pellet, known as the Replantation Pellet.
