Ye Chengwei didn’t get up until he had enough sleep. He put on clothes and left, without washing his face and rinsing his teeth in An Ran’s room. An Ran looked at the empty bed and felt a little chilly.
Did she already get used to his existence in such a short time?
No, An Ran. Don’t be blinded by his gentle surface. Don’t forget his words. Don’t fall for him. He’s not sentimental.
After breakfast, Ye Chengwei took An Ran out of the villa. He was in white casual clothing and looked unspeakably charming.
An Ran was in school uniform, which didn’t match Ye Chengwei’s style.
She sat next to him silently while Ye Chengwei concentrated on driving and said nothing either. Today, he drove a Lamborghini at full speed. An Ran always felt nervous when he drove.
But as long as she thought about him holding her in arms, she would feel secure.
An Ran couldn’t help stealing a glance at his perfect profile. In her eyes, even divinity couldn’t compare with him. He had put on a pair of sunglasses, which made him too cool to be approached.
She felt surreal about this outstanding man. Maybe the tenderest Ye Chengwei only appeared when he kissed her.
They led entirely different lives. But she was here, sitting next to him and sniffing the light cologne of him. It was too hard to be plausible even in her dreams.
An Ran could hardly believe that she had dared to call him the other day and offered to be his mistress.
Could it be that she was destined to have done so?
Ye Chengwei parked the car in a garage of a top-grade shopping mall and opened the door on his side. He wasn’t going to open the door for An Ran.
Now he looked totally mighty and cold.
An Ran opened the door by herself and Ye Chengwei had already been at the elevator. She followed him joyfully. Ye Chengwei heard her steps and locked the car without turning back.
An Ran was dazzled for a second as his gesture was so cool.
She had never shopped in this mall before. She knew the clothes were so expensive that people like her who bought clothes from underground markets could never afford any of them.
An Ran slowed down her steps, which was noticed by Ye Chengwei. He stopped and turned over. The minute he took off his sunglasses, the lights of the mall dimmed down.
“What’s wrong?” He asked casually.
“I don’t want clothes.” An Ran said in a low voice.
Ye Chengwei looked at her as if he was confused by her words. Girls around him always wanted him to buy gifts for them.
“These clothes are too expensive. I can’t afford them.” An Ran said weakly. “Even Weiwei can’t be giving me clothes bought from here. If I go home, I can’t explain it to my mom and she will suspect it.”
Ye Chengwei put on a poker face and said with a little pride. “I never go shopping with women.” He meant for her to be content with it.
An Ran pressed her lips and didn’t say a word. She knew that he treated her well, but she couldn’t let her families find out she was his mistress.
“But I…”
“Shut up.” Ye Chengwei stopped her impatiently. He dragged her hand to go forward. An Ran wasn’t able to resist.
“Do you think I need a beggar by my side?” He was blunt.
A Beggar? An Ran was speechless.
She was in school uniforms, but it was clean. How could she look like a beggar?
