Oath of Love - Chapter 45
Chapter 45: This Villa is Your Cage (3)
So, he only wanted to regain his dignity. He only wanted to defeat her and destroy her.
“Oh?” An Ran smiled coldly. “So, I make Young Master Ye think so much. It seems like you aren’t that powerful either. You can only force women.”
“You think I’ll get angry?” Ye Chengwei spoke slowly with a faint smile. He got closer to An Ran as an evil glint flashed past his eyes. “Oh, what do you think your family will say if I mail your contract to them?”
“No!” An Ran cried reflexively. But as soon as she turned her head, she felt pain in her scalp. She furrowed her brows.
“Then you better fulfill your contract.” Ye Chengwei let go.
An Ran took a step back, instinctively protecting herself by hugging her chest and staring guardedly at Ye Chengwei.
Her family was her weakness. He knew that clearly. He knew how to force down someone’s walls and make them powerless to fight back.
“An Ran, I’ll treat you nicely if you’re obedient,” Ye Chengwei said, both gently and threateningly. “If you’re still so stubborn, you’ll suffer endlessly.”
An Ran didn’t reply.
“Heaven or hell is just with one thought.” After speaking, Ye Chengwei stood up and left the bathtub with a powerful aura. “Get clean and come to my bedroom.”
An Ran hugged her shoulders, suddenly feeling cold. Her tears finally flowed down without control.

An Ran dried her hair, wrapped the robe tightly around her, and walked hesitantly toward Ye Chengwei’s bedroom.
It was early morning and the air conditioning was too strong. It was cold as she stepped on the smooth floor with her bare feet. She knocked Ye Chengwei’s bedroom door softly.
No reply. The door was slightly closed, so An Ran tried pushing it. There was no response, so she pushed it fully and went in.
Ye Chengwei was still fully dressed and sitting on the sofa, reading the morning newspaper. An Ran was surprised to see how casual he looked.
She thought that the demon would want her after she dried herself. She didn’t expect that he would be dressed.
Ye Chengwei looked up at the confused An Ran. He lifted the coffee on the table beside him and took a sip without speaking.
An Ran stood to his side, not knowing what to do. She really didn’t understand what he wanted.
“Your clothes. Put them on,” Ye Chengwei said indifferently. It looked like he’d just rejected An Ran’s offer.
But weren’t her clothes wet? How could she wear them?
The phone rang. Ye Chengwei rose while answering the call. He walked to An Ran and pulled her hand, leading her to the closet. He opened it to show it full of new clothes. An Ran was speechless.
“I’m going to the company later. Notify the necessary departments for a meeting.”
Ye Chengwei hung up. Taking An Ran’s waist, he lowered to her ear and said, “This is the power of money. They’ll bring the clothes to the door with one phone call.”
An Ran didn’t speak. If not for money, she wouldn’t let him kiss and hug her whenever he wanted to.
Ye Chengwei continued, “If I guessed correctly, this measurement suits you. If you like this brand, I’ll make another call and they’ll bring all the newest designs to fill your closet.”
An Ran lowered her eyes. She glanced at the pale purple clothes inside the bags. It was a faint yet noble color.
“Look, I’m spoiling you.” Ye Chengwei nibbled on An Ran’s earlobe. She shrunk back reflexively.
