- Chapter 102 - Please Be Quiet And Take Off Your “Something” Chapter 102
“The settlement money follows the penalty fee. If you know the penalty’s maximum fee, then you can estimate the maximum amount for the settlement money. That would be the utmost maximum you can go. So, how much is that?”
“……”
“If you’re lucky, the sexual harassment charges will be dropped. If you’re not, well, the worst will be in your head. Isn’t it why you’re bumming around after failing to reach Kim Na-Yool? You certainly would like to somehow get an agreement and pass the prosecution stage safely.”
“It’s none of your business, fucker…”
“Isn’t it an excellent opportunity? I’m willing to give how much you want, you know.”
Looking down and smiling brightly, Si-Jin’s lips exuded delight. The refreshed expression was a world away from the vile contempt and murderous intent reflecting within his eyes. Sang-Hoon clenched his teeth.
“I don’t, need your money…”
“For sexual harassment, the penalty fee starts at least at 5 million won.”
“……”
“Physical assault and other threats, at roughly 2 million.”
Self-awareness, self-esteem, self-respect, self-confidence… Sang-Hoon felt like everything that starts with ‘self’ was falling apart. For every word that fell from the top of his head, something collapsed in his mind.
“So minimum 7 million. More? Or maybe less? Well, it’s not exactly accurate, but not that important, anyway.”
“……”
“After all, you really are a bastard bum in need of money, and I really want to beat you up. We indeed need each other here.”
At a glance, Si-Jin’s light, even playful tone, was chilling. Sang-hoon fearfully raised his trembling face to meet his eyes. His stare filled with the disgust of touching something dirty, Si-Jin grabbed Sang-Hoon’s head and slammed it on the ground as he whispered:
“So, get beaten for worth 7 million more.”
“… Uugh….”
“You will settle with me, hm?”
“Uh, ugh…”
Si-Jin asked lazily while pressing the head onto the ground. Sang-Hoon could not answer and heaved a stifled groan. Si-Jin ignored it with a nonchalant shoulder shrug.
“Didn’t everyone tell Kim Na-Yool that she’s stupid not to sign an agreement? That she doesn’t know how it benefits her? And that it’s pointless to stubbornly ask for punishment?”
“……”
“But unlike her, you are smart, so I believe you know that money is everything.”
“…Ugh…”
“I wish you good luck trying to persuade her with the money you’ll earn from this beating.”
“…Fuck… Kim Na-Yool, Kim, Na-Yool too… Does she, know you’re a fucking thug…”
“What if she does? You’re the one being beaten up.”
“A fucking, thug like you, you shouldn’t be by her side…”
“There is no one more dangerous to Kim Na-Yool than you.”
“……”
“You fucking rapist bastard.”
The frosty voice, with no trace of glee, pierced Sang-Hoon’s eardrums like an ice pick. He spat out curses in answer as he struggled with his head crushed sideways.
“You will, regret this…! You, dammit, agreement? Over my dead body! I’ll ruin your life…”
“Sorry, but my salary comes from my own pockets.”
“……”
“My life is not easy to ruin. Unlike yours.”
Si-Jin chuckled and roughly threw Sang-Hoon’s head, who toppled. Pressing his hands on the ground he tried to pick himself up, but Si-Jin immediately knocked him down again with a kick.
“Where are you going? It’s money-making time.”
“Fuck…!”
“Curse one more time, and I’ll really cut your dick off.”
Chapter 26 – Monday 6:50 a.m.
…Did I oversleep?… Na-Yool thought as she dizzily peered over the blanket. She slitted open her heavy eyelids with much difficulty, gaining a blurry vision of her surroundings, but her conscience still refused to wake up. While she remained tightly wrapped in the blanket as her mind wandered off, the sound of a shower coming from the bathroom suddenly stopped. It was the main culprit behind Na-Yool’s guilt. [T/N: She’s feeling ‘guilty’ for having too much sex! She sort of avoids Si-Jin in the following paragraphs because she’s exhausted and fears he will tempt her for more ahahah]
Shortly after, the door to the bathroom attached to the bedroom opened from afar, revealing Si-Jin’s naked body moving into the connected dressing room. Truly a proud pervert’s naked body with nothing to complain about…
If she had her head straight, Na-Yool would have averted her eyes or gotten flustered. But she was not, and therefore was not affected at all. No, not at all…
Gulp. With a short gasp, she sprang to her feet.
“—Let’s check the time.”
Expecting to find her phone nearby out of habit, Na-Yool slapped around the bed looking for it. As she did so, she distractedly sat down on the bed without noticing that her own naked body was entirely exposed. Not that not finding her phone was this distracting, but to a still half-asleep Na-Yool, nothing was more urgent.
Her memory slowly returned, from the moment Sang-Hoon completely ruined her cellphone to the moment Si-Jin left some shopping bag on the table, and then to the weekend where she neglected its content.
“…I’m positive I turned it on here yesterday…”
“Turn what on?”
Na-Yool abruptly turned her head towards where the voice came from. It was a reflex without logic. When she saw the unsought Si-Jin boasting a handsome appearance while her phone remained missing, she defeatedly turned her head away.
She was surprised by how vexingly fast Si-Jin put on suit pants and fastened a white shirt all the way up in the meantime she had looked away from the dressing room. But more vexing was… that all her energy had been drained dry throughout Sunday by that man.
As of now, she had somewhat had enough of all the sex, so her rejecting head-turn was merciless. Though belatedly, she did not forget to cover her naked body with the blanket.
“Greeting me first thing today, what expression is this?”
“…I am not making any particular one.”
“Exactly, what with the deadpan face? I’m pained.”
“With how thick your skin is, what could possibly—”
“This face, hurts.”
“—hurts you.”
Ignoring his nonsensical pouting, Na-Yool started looking for her cellphone on the bed. As soon as she did, Si-Jin plonked on the edge of the bed and outrightly watched at the scene. Or more precisely, at her body covered by the blanket occasionally revealing some skin.
“…What are you looking at so lewdly?”
He was so openly staring that it was hard not to notice. Na-Yool wrapped herself in one more layer and squeezed her eyes at Si-Jin. He shrugged.
“I’ve seen it all anyway.”
“You know what it looks like, so why are you staring with those lustful eyes?”
“It’s because I know that I want to look.”
The pervert confessed with no hesitation. With no logic to begin with, what hesitation could there be? Na-Yool sighed and silently shook her head. Si-Jin was fastening his sleeve button as he glanced carefreely at her like looking at a cute teasable thing when he seemed to realize something.
“Are you perhaps looking for this?”
“……”
“Here.”
Na-Yool accepted the object with an astound expression. It was her cellphone, which she remembered the battery was running low. However, the phone was now at 100% because Si-Jin had apparently charged it overnight. Yes, this phone. The one she had been searching for for a while.
Before Na-Yool realized it, the blanket had slightly slid down when she took the phone, revealing her arm up to her shoulder — Si-Jin unexpectedly pulled it back up. His fingertips vaguely grazed against the hollow of her clavicle in an ambiguously flirtatious manner, but that was all.
“I’ve been looking for it for a long time. Didn’t you see…”
“You should have told me.”
“……”
The words dropped, leaving Na-Yool speechless, and Si-Jin turned and left the room. His back exuded satisfaction. It was obviously intentional. Treating people casually like a cute show to look at…!
Did I just say ‘cute’? Get a grip, me!
“Really, he is such a mystery…” Na-Yool muttered with sincerity. The more she knew him, the more things she did not understand about him, to the point she cannot even count them anymore. Na-Yool crawled down from the bed as she grumbled. Even if she was not behind time, she thought it would be a little late, but it was only 6:50 am.
