[System Tome]
[Quality: ?]
[Description: Please name the game.]
A text field appeared beside Jiang Qiao hand from the second item in his bag, inside of which he simply typed [Sacred Souls].
The words on the tome turned then, its name changing to Sacred Souls System Tome.
Jiang Qiao opened the book—the very first page of the item showed that present energy was 5000/25000, the map area was 240 square kilometers and the player limit was 2/1000.
The first page only had those two lines worth of content, but when Jiang Qiao turned to the second page, several thumb-sized orbs of light appeared before him.
“You actually inserted the star map into the tome?” Ocean Blue held her hand over her mouth, her eyes full of disbelief.
“Star map…” Jiang Qiao remembered the memory when he was in Maker mode. “Is that the map we would expand from now on?”
Jiang Qiao clicked on a dark blue orb with his fingertip. It was the largest of the orbs, and when enlarged, it turned out to be a clear blue revolving planet.
And it was the real world where Jiang Qiao presently resided.
There was another pale-white orb beside it, slowly circling around it like a satellite. It was the realm of the game which Ocean Blue and Jiang Qiao created, and there was also a pitch-black orb that slowly approached the Bluestar.
“That’s the plane that would invade Bluestar soon!” Ocean Blue exclaimed, pointing at the pitch-black orb. “Although it’s only a fragment of a world, all the creatures within possess supernatural power!”
Jiang Qiao reached out to touch the pitch-black orb, and a pile of data promptly appeared.
[Other Beast Plane Fragment]
[Plane type: Arcane]
[Civilization grade: medieval]
[Plane size: twenty squared kilometers]
[Creature level: 1~35]
[World rule: complete circulation for time and life, complete rules of physics, lower arcane laws…]
The data panel of a single plane was too complicated. Therefore, Jiang Qiao only looked through the few vital information before clicking on Bluestar’s realm data.
[Human Plane]
[Plane Type: Technological]
[Civilization grade: information age]
[Plane size: infinite]
[Beast level: 1~5]
[World rule: complete circulation for time and life…]
“What would happen if that black orb overlaps with Bluestar?” Jiang Qiao asked, having noticed that the dark sphere had moved just a little closer to Bluestar after browsing through his planet’s data.
“The monsters for the invading plane would appear inside Bluestar and kill all indigenous lifeforms! And if the dimensional rift stays open for too long, it would attract more invading planes just like itself!”
Ocean Blue pointed at a red-black plane that was a little further away. All Jiang Qiao needed to see the creature level which was shown to be around 120~150 to think of the world ‘apocalypse’.
“So the duty to groom world-saving heroes is up to us. How long until the black plane overlaps with Bluestar?”
“In ten days!” Ocean Blue replied.
“Ten days, and the server accommodation is only a thousand players. If our numbers prove enough, could we ‘devour’ that black plane?”
Ocean Blue nodded repeatedly in response to Jiang Qiao’s question. It was a way to expand worlds in Sacred Souls, since only invasion of other planes would provide new expansion packs.
“Understood. It’s time to go back to the real world and look for some world-saving candidates.”
Although Jiang Qiao still had many questions about the game world that he created, those things could wait—he should look for player candidates now.

Upon his return to the real world, Jiang Qiao found that nothing much changed apart from the addition of a physical goddess beside him, and a Sacred Souls app on his mobile phone.
He had developed the Maker Mode for the app himself, with its functions proving rich and most importantly, it took a single click to login into the game world of Sacred Souls.
“So… unscientific.”
Jiang Qiao flicked through the Sacred Souls app on his phone, which had still many functions yet to be unlocked.
“Have you thought about the first batch of player candidates?” Ocean Blue asked anxiously, unwilling to continue listening to his complaints.
“I didn’t, but I thought of one person… to be precise, the third player of Sacred Souls.”
Jiang Qiao turned on his computer and logged in to a livestream website called Raccoon, the most popular broadcast portal on Bluestar. At the moment, the top trending broadcast room was the [War] semi-final match between JC Kings and the Seoul White Blades.
[War] was the most popular VR online game on Bluestar, and its professional tournaments were naturally in-demand across the world too.
Jiang Qiao now tuned in to watch the live match between Gao Li’s White Blades and Hua Nation’s JC Kings.
“Does it have to be Koreans in every world? Wait, it’s not CN Dota.” Jiang Qiao said as he checked the scores—three rounds had already been played, and it was White Blades two, JC Kings one.
The White Blades only need to win another round to enter the grand final.
“Welcome back live to the War International semi-finals. I’m your commentator Kingshasit, and beside me here is Seventeen.”
“Greetings.”
“At the moment, the White Blades are on match point. The pressure is on our team KC Kings, and they must come up with something to keep the White Blades at bay… an experienced general who could keep the team composed.”
“What are you hinting at again, Kingshasit?”
“I’m saying that the man is finally up. The word we just received is that JC Kings would switch their vanguard player from Southwind to Giggle!”
At the very mention of Giggle’s name, a wave of cheers exploded from Jiang Qiao’s headphones.
[War] has been online for eight years and its professional scene established for seven. Throughout that time, Giggle’s game ID had never been absent from the various tournaments, having led his team to consecutive victories in the third and fourth season of the International.
In fact, Giggle was a godlike being for players of Hua Nation three years ago, and a nightmare that foreign players could never be freed of. Some even afforded him the publicly acknowledged nickname ‘Old Smiley’.
Be that as it may, after the seventh season, Giggle was no longer at his best after aging past 25, and was relegated to the reserve position of the team over long periods.
However, with JC Kings persisting disadvantage, the coach was forced to have the veteran return so that he could keep the team’s mentality stable.
Even so, reality was cruel—JC Kings’ opponents proved unstoppable despite their substitution, ending their journey in the International by a humiliating 3:1 score.
