Chapter 1: Entrance Exam, Expulsion! Chat Group of Naive and Stupid Students?

Blue Planet.
In a dilapidated building located in a remote area called Fengqi Base City on the outskirts of Daming Capital, Su Ze was lying in bed.
He was looking at the calendar at the head of his bed.
There was a number three with a red circle around it written on the calendar.
This meant that there were only three days left until the entrance exam of the martial artist universities.
Thinking about the entrance exam, Su Ze let out a long sigh.
He had just transmigrated to this world for a day!
He had also just accepted the truth of this world such that the Blue Planet was being invaded by various 10,000 races, and as such the human race could only drag out their survival in the Base Cities.
And now, reality gave him another hard slap.
The entrance exam was coming the day after tomorrow!
Before the current Su Ze had transmigrated here, the original Su Ze’s realm was just weak.
He was so weak to the point he couldn’t even get into the Martial Artist Food Processing Technology Vocational School next to the Martial Artist Academy!!
So this had made the whole matter a headache for Su Ze.
Didn’t all transmigrators have a glorious life?
Yet he had just transmigrated and was about to be sent to hell.
One had to know that if he couldn’t get into the Martial Artist Academy, then what awaited him was to become a powerless laborer.
And the casualty rate of such laborers was as high as 20% every year!
Because this was a hazardous job that only people with no background would do. They would have to work in a place where demons ran rampant outside of the Base City.
Su Ze didn’t have parents or a strong background.
“There are only three days left! How am I going to survive!” Su Ze covered his face, and his heart was filled with bitterness.
Just as Su Ze was at a loss of what to do, his old phone suddenly rang with a message notification.
Su Ze picked up his phone to check the sudden message.
“Congratulations on joining the Pantheon Chat Group. Do go and greet your friends!”
“Pantheon Chat Group?” Su Ze was a little confused. What was this?
Could it be a group chat that he had applied for before?
But he didn’t have any impression of doing such a thing!
Besides, the name “Pantheon Chat Group” was filled with the aura of a bunch of naive and stupid students.
Not long after he joined the group chat, a few messages popped up.
Group notification: [Welcome [unknown] member Su Ze in joining the Pantheon Chat Group. Everyone, do come and welcome him!]
Only Say Love When Lonely (Lower God): [Wow, may I ask who this God is? To think you’re an unknown existence! How terrifying! (shocked.jpg)]
The Star-chasing Youth with a Hammer (Median God): [Boss, with our friendly relationship, can you tell me what kind of existence you are? (tearful eyes.jpg)]
The Painting Genius (Median God): [A newcomer has joined! Not bad, not bad! As usual, the newcomer has to see my painting first and tell me how it is!”
[Ding! The Painting Genius has sent a picture! (photo.jpg)]
The Painting Genius (Median God): [How is it? Isn’t it very artistic?]
Su Ze stifled a laugh as he read through the messages in the group filled with idiots. There were only six people in this group, including him, and all of them seemed so naive and stupid. Did they think with a special symbol at the end of their names, they could become Gods?
Daydreaming of becoming a God, how interesting.
They should have a thorough understanding of the functions of the QQ chat application to have these special symbols behind their names!
They were silly to the point of being ridiculous. Besides, even the primary school students in Su Ze’s previous life didn’t dare to have such an online alias!
The main reason why Su Ze laughed was that this guy’s drawing was just too funny.
The drawing on the photo was just abstract. It was a drawing of a cat with three pairs of eyes, and it was so abstract it looked like a dog.
However, since he was a newcomer, he had to reply.
Su Ze replied: [Not bad! You are like the Da Vinci of today. Every stroke and color has shocked me! In conclusion, your drawing of the cat is amazing! I like it. You’re definitely at the top amongst those who draw! (smile.jpg)]
The Painting Genius: [Thank you so much for your affirmation. Although I don’t know who Da Vinci is, I know that you’re praising me! I’m touched. May I add, the creature in the drawing is a Six-winged Heavenly Hound! (cry.jpg) (touched.jpg)]
However, Su Ze did not pay attention to his reply as a call came through his phone.
He looked at the name of the caller and his heart sank.
Su Ze cleared his throat and picked up the call, “Hello! Teacher Liu, what’s the matter?”
Teacher Liu was his form teacher in the Martial Artist High School.
This call gave Su Ze a bad feeling.
Teacher Liu said in a serious tone, “Su Ze! You know that the Martial Artist Academy’s entrance exam is in three days, but your current strength hasn’t even reached the strength of a bull (100 kilograms). You know what will happen…”
“I know. For the sake of the enrollment rate, I will be removed as a student of the Sixth Martial Artist High School!” Su Ze’s tone gradually turned cold.
Teacher Liu sighed, “You should know that to get more resources from the higher-ups, our enrollment rate must be high! If it is low, what will happen to the students who can truly become the pillars of the human race?”
Su Ze did not speak, but the emotions in his eyes had become more indifferent!
Seeing that Su Ze did not speak for a long time, Teacher Liu thought that he could not accept this result, so he quickly added, “Don’t be too discouraged! Although you are no longer a student of our school, you can still participate in the entrance exam as a free person!”
“Oh,” Su Ze said indifferently. His heart had gradually turned cold as his identity as a high school student was removed.
“Oh right! In addition, the Sixth Martial Artist High School will give you 10,000 Dragon Coins as financial aid! Besides, you have to believe in yourself. Who knows, there might be a surprise during the entrance exam! Right? Take it easy!” Teacher Liu laughed awkwardly.
Seeing that Su Ze still did not speak, Teacher Liu thought that his consolation was effective, so he continued, “Moreover, even if you can’t pass the exam and become a laborer in the end, although the casualty rate is a little high, the higher the risks, the higher the rewards! It’ll be enough for you to live a better life!”
Su Ze sighed. He couldn’t stand this pretense of kindness anymore. He interrupted Teacher Liu’s long speech and said straightforwardly, “That’s enough! Xiao Liu, I’m not your student anymore, so there’s no need to be so earnest!”
Teacher Liu was speechless. He frowned and left a wish for good luck before hanging up the phone.
Su Ze looked out of the window at the floors of dilapidated buildings and felt even more helpless.
In this huge Base City, it seemed like… There was no place for him to shine.
The Sixth Martial Artist High School’s cancellation of his identity as their student had already explained everything.
Without his student identity, even if he got good results in the entrance exam, the Martial Artist Academy still would not admit him!
Unless his results were so good they could set a record, there was no possibility of him entering the Academy at all.
With Su Ze’s current strength of only 50 kilograms, it was impossible for him to achieve heaven-defying results.
Therefore, the road ahead of him seemed to be pitch-black.
Su Ze helplessly rubbed his eyes.
He placed his gaze on his phone, wanting to continue to see what the silly people in the chat group had talked about.
This was his trace of joy among all the pessimism.
