Skeleton’s Training Manual - Chapter 50
Chapter 50: 050 One Month
In the blink of an eye, it had been a month since Hao Zhijian joined Lu Wu’s team.
For the past month, Hao Zhijian could cry himself a river.
F**king hell, it was torture.
He was constantly bullied by Lu Wu.
Once every two days, Lu Wu would just find some stupid excuse to beat him up.
In the beginning, Hao Zhijian was confused, what did he do to trigger this dude? Why was this dude bullying him for no reason?
He already tried hiding from him, but it was of no use.
Since the bullying started getting worse and Hao Zhijian had no other choice, he brought up the matter to Li Kai.
Hao Zhijian was trying to get Li Kai’s protection.
Since he was considered to be Li Kai’s VIP as he had already given him so much money.
Not only the 5 million yuan previously, he even gave an additional 3 million yuan in order to get a set of weapons and there were no guarantees that he would get a stable one.
After spending millions, he wasn’t asking for Li Kai to take his side, but at least to be fair to him.
However, as soon as he brought it up to Li Kai, Li Kai looked at him from the side and said that he deserved it which almost drove Hao Zhijian into depression.
In the end, when Li Kai saw that Hao Zhijian was being bullied everyday and started pitying him, he secretly told Hao Zhijian the reason why Lu Wu was bullying him.
Maybe… Probably… it was because of Tutu.
When Hao Zhijian heard this, he was dazed!
Lu Wu was bullying him because of that fat chick?
What a joke!
He didn’t think that Lu Wu was nice to Tutu because he genuinely liked her, but inside he was sure that Lu Wu was just using her. This scumbag only cared about Tutu’s summoned beast.
This was definitely not the reason why he was bullied.
But then, as Hao Zhijian started paying more attention to it, he slowly realized that this was actually the reason why he was bullied.
This bastard was such a petty person!
As soon as he called her by ‘Tutu’, he would end up getting beaten.
If he got close to Tutu within half a meter, that would be worse, Lu Wu would beat him to the point where he would have to beg for mercy.
As he found out the reason for all the bullying, Hao Zhijian had an extremely complicated feeling in his heart.
He only realized that this dude genuinely liked this fat chick. Lu Wu was treating her like treasure and was constantly worried that someone would take her away from him.
Oh, please. Look at her. Who would want to fight with Lu Wu for that?
Well, obviously he didn’t say these out loud because he’d just end up getting beaten. He started maintaining distance with her and would always call her by her full name.
However, the bullying still continued.
Fortunately, the bullying never got out of hand.
Hao Zhijian did feel wronged in the beginning and even flew into a rage, but after some time, he was already used to being bullied by Lu Wu.
Since he couldn’t resist it, he could only accept it silently.
Of course, Hao Zhijian’s days weren’t only filled with bullying.
Since Lu Wu wouldn’t be fighting him the entire day.
Lu Wu was actually pretty busy. He had to train Skeleton, do research about breeding summoned beasts, and even had to experiment with the summoned beast weapons. The bullying only happened during his leisure time.
Which was why other than being bullied, Hao Zhijian was still learning about summoned beasts most of the time.
To be more precise, he was studying [ Frozen Birdie’s Training Manual– changing physical attack to magic attacks] that Li Kai had given him.
Well, although the reason why Lu Wu brought him in was because of the money, Lu Wu still had to give something in return.
In fact, the training manual that Lu Wu had given him was worth the price that he paid.
Lu Wu didn’t give him the training manual and forgot about it. He did update it several times according to Frozen Birdie’s status.
Did he really think that the reason why Lu Wu bullied him was because Lu Wu was a petty person?
Um… fine… that was the reason!
Other than that, he actually needed to know Frozen Birdie’s training progress in order to update the training manual accordingly.
With Frozen Birdie’s training manual, Lu Wu couldn’t help but agree that this was what it’s like to be a rich person.
Lu Wu initially thought that it was already a lot for a family to spend 5 million yuan on a training manual, but after that, he realised that this 5 million yuan was only the beginning.
Other than the 5 million yuan spent, the He family presented the training manual for both [Frozen needle] and [Frozen Shield] to Li Kai.
Lu Wu had no idea how they got these training manuals and how much money they had spent to get it.
However, none of these were important. Both of these training manuals expanded Lu Wu’s knowledge, which gave him two additional ways of obtaining special skills.
But both Skeleton and Tuan Tuan would not be able to use it as they were not from the ice class. They would not be able to obtain an ice class skill which meant that he could only teach it to Frozen Birdie at the end of the day.
As for this, Lu Wu was still acting very professionally.
Instead of hiding and keeping it all to himself, he would study through it himself and then teach them to Li Kai, so that Li Kai would be able to teach Hao Zhijian.
Which then also became a way for Li Kai to learn as well.
While he was teaching Hao Zhijian, he was extremely gentle and patient.
After a period of time, Hao Zhijian even had a feeling that Li Kai finally realised his talent and was finally seeing his true value.
Hao Zhijian couldn’t help but start acting arrogant.
Hao Zhijian felt like he could finally stand up straight and no longer have to listen to Lu Wu. He would be getting the same treatment as Lu Wu’s.
It no longer had to be like how it was before.
He wouldn’t have to bet 3 million for a weapon that had no guarantee if it would work.
He no longer would be bullied by Lu Wu.
It might be possible that after some time, Li Kai’s entire attention would be on him.
Then at that time, he would return all the bullying that he got back to Lu Wu.
As he thought about his beautiful future, Hao Zhijian’s arrogance grew.
Well, this brewing arrogance didn’t cause him to start acting like a bastard since he had already learnt his lesson from before this.
He could still control his emotions.
Plus, he wasn’t exactly that stupid.
He knew that he was close to getting victory and he should maintain his composure. He had to remain calm, low-key, and humble.
But the problem here was that even if he tried to control himself, his summoned beast, Frozen Birdie, had obtained the skills of [Frozen Needle], [Frozen Needle], [Frozen Shield] and [Frozen Breath] within this one month of training.
With these three new skills, Frozen Birdie already had five skills in total and it also meant that the switch physical attack to magic attack was successful.
In other words!
He, Hao Zhijian, was the best!
Now, he could not control himself anymore.
His little heart was racing and he felt like the rain had stopped, and the sun was now shining bright. It was his time to shine.
Therefore, Hao Zhijian, who was already on the team for a month, had the impulse to invite Lu Wu to a match for the first time ever.
