So You Have Loved Me Too - Chapter 56
Chapter 56: Forced to Live Together – Part 2
She was keenly aware of the fact that Yang Danning was probably referring to the fight that she and Ji Jingfeng had the other night.
Detecting that Ji Anning was playing dumb, Yang Danning pinched her on the butt, “Stop pretending. Didn’t you get into a fight? Aren’t you two in a cold war?”
Ji Anning shook her head, “No, we made up.”
They never got into a cold war before. That was something that people who were truly in love did.
In hindsight, they genuinely never once did the things that lovers did other than the routine hand-holding since young.
They never even kissed.
“What?” Yang Danning shouted, shocked. Disappointedly, she prodded Ji Anning on her forehead, “You bad girl. How can you make up with him so easily? Did he give you an amazing gift? Or kneel in repentance?”
Ji Anning lifted her brow jokingly at her, “Aren’t you interested in my Little Uncle instead?”
“Pui!” Yang Danning poked Ji Anning’s forehead frustratedly and said heartbrokenly, “You bad and heartless girl. I asked you out of concern. How can you treat me as though I were a common gossipmonger?”
Was she not? Pursing her lips, Ji Anning looked smilingly at Yang Danning.
She undoubtedly adored gossip. Each time there was any dirt about the big celebrities in the entertainment industry, she would always get to the bottom of it.
Ji Anning smiled without uttering a word, making Yang Danning’s face blush instantly. As she turned around to continue walking, she grumbled, “I don’t know how you became like this towards me. You don’t have a sense of humor at all.”
Without retorting, Ji Anning only nodded her head.
If they were to go out and eat, she had to bring her books back to the hostel first. The pathway leading to the hostel was rich in history. On both sides of the path were sturdy and tall sycamore trees. During this season, their leaves were falling.
The intense autumn scent insuppressibly invoked a sense of melancholy.
Lowering her head, Ji Anning carelessly kicked the leaves while Yang Danning blathered on.
She was ever so enthusiastic.
…
“A breathtakingly gorgeous new teacher joined computing. I’m so envious of those students.”
“It’s a pity all they have are guys.”
Suddenly, a few girls discussed the new handsome teacher as they walked past them.
He was so alluring that pink hearts brimmed from their eyes.
“It must be your little uncle.”
Just as Ji Anning speculated whether it was Ji Chicheng, Yang Danning grabbed her wrist eagerly. She was certain the girl was talking about him.
Ji Anning smiled. Without a doubt, Ji Chicheng studied computing. Since junior high school, he adored researching games. When he was in high school, he started attempting to create simple games.
He was the only person in the family with the liberty to choose his major based on his preference. It was another classic example of how much her grandfather indulged him.
Although Ji Anning felt the girls must be talking about Ji Chicheng as well, seeing the excitement in Yang Danning, she purposely teased, “In your eyes, is my Little Uncle the only good-looking man on earth?”
Yang Danning was completely unabashed. Instead, she tilted her head up proudly, “A breathtakingly gorgeous computing teacher. Who else can it be other than your little uncle?”
Just like those girls from before, pink hearts popped up from the depths of her eyes.
Ji Anning rolled her eyes heartlessly before she continued to walk forward.
She left Miss Yang behind, besotted.
