So You Have Loved Me Too - Chapter 58
Chapter 58: Forced to Live Together – Part 4
He said to wait for him where she was and promised to dine together tonight. What did that mean?
Why did he agree?
Did he agree on account of Danning because he already saw them together?
But that did not seem right either. There was a closet full of women’s clothing in his apartment, proving he must be attached. Also, he was probably uninterested in Danning if they were already cohabiting.
Or was he being fickle and wanted to two-time her?
Yet based on her understanding, he led a simple life and was even a little compulsive with cleanliness and did not seem like a scumbag. But other than that, she could not comprehend the reason he agreed to a date so easily.
‘See. I told you it’d work if you asked him out,” seeing Ji Chicheng here, Yang Danning was so over the moon that she was at a loss. Grabbing Ji Anning by the arm, her exhilaration was written all over her face.
After Ji Anning’s thoughts got interrupted, she stopped looking and glanced sideways at her, “Yang Danning, can you have some restraint?”
Despite her lack of self-control, she pretentiously acted prim and asked her to make a date with that absolutely arrogant fellow.
She got so tense that her back sweated profusely.
“Uh huh,” only then did Miss Yang recall that she was a girl and ought to show some restraint. She hurriedly held Ji Anning by the arm and smiled reservedly at Ji Chicheng, who was now before them.
Both her cheeks were blushing too.
Looking at this abnormal transformation in her, Ji Anning rolled her eyes in her heart speechlessly.
This fellow was a real actress. If she worked in the entertainment industry, she might even win the best actress award.
“Chicheng,” Yang Danning did her utmost to soften her tone as she greeted Ji Chicheng.
Ji Anning twitched her lips. The power of love was so great it could make a tomboy like Yang Danning become so affected!
Incapable of making any comment, she decided to depart quickly. She could not stay to play gooseberry, or else, she would get reprimanded for being immature.
At the thought of that, Ji Anning chuckled and looked at Ji Chicheng, “Little Uncle, I suddenly recalled I have something to do…”
Without waiting for her to finish, Ji Chicheng swiftly spoke up and cut her off, “Are you treating me because you’ve money to burn?”
He raised his brow frivolously with a chilly look in his dark eyes, making it impossible to determine whether he was ridiculing or teasing her.
Ji Anning wanted to vomit blood!
How could he say she had money to burn despite knowing her situation full well? It was clearly deliberate on his part.
Also, he pretended to sound so solemn while being privately obnoxious!
Although Ji Anning cursed Ji Chicheng countless times in her heart, her mouth remained sealed, and she did not even dare glare at him.
She realized how spineless and such a coward she was.
“Haha. Since it’s Anning’s treat, I’m going to have a feast.”
Miss Yang promptly expressed her position by standing next to Ji Chicheng and helping to sabotage Ji Anning.
Ji Anning’s face turned overcast as she gnashed her teeth in silence. Reaching out from behind Yang Danning, she pinched her hard on her butt.
Although Yang Danning winced in pain with her forehead trembling, she continued beaming brightly on the surface.
In front of an adonis like this, she had to be elegant.
“Alright then,” Ji Anning helplessly nodded her head, “Where do you want to eat?”
As the restaurants in the school’s vicinity were all middle-range, she did not have to fork out that much money.
Except she wasn’t very keen on the idea of eating with Ji Chicheng as she kept feeling uneasy.
After some consideration, Yang Danning said, “Why don’t we go to that Western restaurant at Ronghui Plaza? I’ve been there once, and the ambiance is pretty good.”
Ronghui Plaza… the Western restaurant…
