Starting From the Dragon Tribe
Chapter 92: Death Servitor Army
Lu Chen woke up, rather, he wasn’t asleep in the first place.
He was full of energy to begin with, and with his experience last night, he couldn’t sleep no matter how he tossed and turned.
Suddenly, the button he had been keeping on his body vibrated, and his cell phone buzzed.
It was an emergency distress signal!
He hurriedly checked the location of those two, and then… clicked on the navigation feature.
After using a few seconds to see the route clearly, he quickly dressed and took Red Maple out from under the pillow. His movements were very light in order not to wake up Erii, who was still sleeping.
He gently pulled open the door and walked directly to the balcony, the muscles under his shirt slightly swelled. Kotodama: Diamond!
The elevator was too slow. Saving people was like fighting fire.
It was four in the morning, and even a city like Tokyo was not so dazzling at this time. There was only a night owl who swooped down, his black windbreaker rustling in the wind.
With a dull and heavy sound, the luxurious marble ground crumbled, stones shattering. Before the hotel door camera could capture the night owl’s appearance, he had already disappeared.
Those two weren’t “delicate” people like Senior Sister Lutecia. With their pride, they would not have asked him for help with any small problem.
But this time, the two had directly used the emergency contact method. Although there was no direct message, its meaning was more than obvious.
Through his understanding of Caesar and Chu Zihang, the two would never activate the button even if they were besieged or even captured by the Japanese branch, so obviously the two were now in an extremely dangerous and unexpected situation.
“Interesting,” Lu Chen, who had just flattened a telephone, couldn’t help but grin. Maybe some enemies worth cutting down had appeared.

“Didn’t the Japanese say they’re very craftsmanlike? So how come the quality of this door doesn’t seem very good?” Looking at the alloy door constantly trembling and the surrounding walls dropping bits of debris, Caesar couldn’t help but roast them.
“They are using Kotodama. This door was not designed to withstand a large number of Death Servitors attacking,” Chu Zihang looked at the door, his blood starting to boil.
The location of the Ganryuu Institute was isolated, nearly forty kilometers away from the Peninsula Hotel. Even if Brother Lu was physically strong and quick, they still had to hold out for at least three minutes.
At the moment, it seemed like the door wouldn’t hold out much longer.
Chu Zihang stood next to a computer. He was waiting for Mini Norma to operate. The moment it was done, he would retrieve it. It was the fruit of their risky adventure.
“What do you think those guys are up to?” Caesar reloaded the Desert Eagles as he said. He really couldn’t figure out the purpose of the horde of these deadly guys attacking the Ganryuu Institute. Did they come to steal information like us?
But these guys were bloodthirsty and brainless. They didn’t seem to be able to do this sort of agent work.
They were now clustered outside, ramming and scratching at the heavy alloy door, like a group of cats who had smelled fish but were trying to figure out how to open the can, and he and Chu Zihang were the gourmet within.
But what was out there was much more horrible and disgusting than some cute animal like a cat, and he and Chu Zihang weren’t fish to be eaten.
“Death Servitors can’t be called completely witless, but they are consumed mainly by the purest desires, namely killing… feeding,” After Chu Zihang finished his comment, he had begun to chant his Kotodama.
The moment Mini Norma sounded her beep, he pulled her out and shoved it in his pocket, walked to Caesar’s side and indicated for him to step back a bit.
At the same time, the heavy alloy door collapsed, and suddenly, like evil spirits unleashed onto Earth, the serpentine Death Servitors, with their fangs and claws, looked into the room with a desire to kill and eat with their golden pupils.
Yet the youth they were staring at had eyes that shone even brighter than theirs in that instant. The room’s temperature rapidly rose as kingly flames roared toward the demons.
First Degree Blood Rage, Royal Blaze.
Caesar also looked upon the scene with some surprise. He guessed that Chu Zihang’s Kotodama perhaps wasn’t so simple, otherwise he wouldn’t have been deployed alone. It was probably somewhat taboo of a Kotodama, but he didn’t expect it to be such a violent one.
The heat wave swept across his face, scorching the blonde hair on his forehead a bit. The surprise was only momentary, for in the next moment, he came to his senses and shot at the demons writhing in the flames.
Royal Blaze was indeed a powerful Kotodama, but the life force of the serpentine Death Servitors was amazing. The flames rushed through the thick wall of the servitors in front, diminishing in power. They howled and rolled in the flames; the scene was like hell on earth.
The servitors stepped over the pile of charred corpses, and what greeted them were Caesar’s bullets. Amidst the chaos and smoke from the flames, their reaction times were obviously not as fast as that of the first one. Two more were struck down.
The first exchange seemed to be a great victory, but Caesar and Zihang dared not let their guards down, because they could see that the spacious corridor was now packed with serpentine Death Servitors, their infant-like shrieking pouring into their brains.
“Can you do it again?” Caesar finished a round and reloaded as he backed up against Zihang.
Chu Zihang did not speak, but answered with his actions. When another group of serpentine Death Servitors poured in, they were met with the Royal Blaze, which was even larger and more powerful than the first!
At this point, the flames had spread around the computer room. Many host computers began to burn, sparks flashing from the burned circuitry.
The ceiling began to spray fire extinguisher powder. The computer room naturally had a fire prevention system, but in the face of such sudden and high-temperature flames, it was just a drop in the bucket.
Chu Zihang, who had released two consecutive Royal Blazes, had become a little tired even in the Blood Rage state. If he wanted to fire a third one in such a short time, he would have to refine his bloodline.
And the result of going up to the Second Degree Blood Rage was the reason for his unquenching golden eyes.
Brother Lu had reminded him that this technique should not be abused, and he had taken it to heart, but in the times when one foot was in the grave, he couldn’t think much of it.
As Brother Lu had told him, “This thing, power, is something that you’ll always feel like you don’t have enough of in the face of a stronger tyrant.”
He was glad that he still had the means to fight even on the verge of being wiped out.
A strong gust of wind blew, and an extremely strong serpentine Death Servitor rose up, his sharp claws causing woosh sounds, aiming right for his throat.
The gun sounded, but the servitor reacted in time to block his forehead. However, right in the next moment, Chu Zihang’s Murasame was drawn, slicing at the servitor’s neck.
Caesar rushed over and kicked away the servitor that was locked in with Chu Zihang, then planted another bullet in him. Chu Zihang had actually failed to cleanly behead it.
“These things got hard bones, don’t attempt to cut them, get back, we’ll play guerilla and wait for you to regain strength!” Caesar drew his knife to parry the claws of a “slightly smaller” servitor, kicked him, and shouted for Zihang to retreat.
The complex computer room was like a maze which could buy them more time.
The two moved quickly while the whole room started to light up, unbeknownst to them. The serpentine Death Servitors were rich in grease internally. They were natural fuel.
The burning Death Servitors writhed in the flames, the pain forcing them to keep flailing, so that the whole computer room started to burn up.
The ventilator at the top was working at maximum power, but even so, the smoke and increasing low oxygen concentration made Caesar and Zihang gradually fall into a daze.
As they were once again surrounded, this time by five serpentine Death Servitors, fine scaly patterns began to appear upon Chu Zihang’s skin.
Second Degree Blood Rage, Royal Blaze #3!
