Starting From the Dragon Tribe
Chapter 96: He’s not dead, right?
No one could see the figure of the teenager, they could only see the server compartments collapsing one by one and the heads exploding into red mist, like a giant hammer smashing at great speed.
The walls dented, rubble scattered, and several more Death Servitors fell.
The metal ceiling became deformed and collapsed. The flames were divided into a cross. There was an impending sense of death within the room, and its shape was a blood-soaked blade!
In just six or seven seconds, the entire room was reduced to a mess. 30 to 40 surviving Death Servitors’ heads flew like flowers scattering.
Until finally, the teenager’s figure appeared at the front of the computer room door. Time seemed to flow normally again. The ceiling had fallen, the compartments destroyed, rubble strewn on the ground, the fire burning weakly on the ground.
Lu Chen walked out of the computer room, his sneakers completely worn out and smoking, not because of the fire, but because of friction caused by such great speed.
He shook off the two shattered shoes and patted the shoulders of the somewhat dazed Zihang and Caesar, “Let’s see what we can pry out of him before the Japanese branch comes.”
Zihang and Caesar glanced at each other in dismay and then looked at Lu Chen, who was walking towards the mysterious man.
Both wanted to express their admiration at that moment. Was this the extreme speed of an S-grade’s Split Second?
But wasn’t this a bit too much?
Chu Zihang, on the other hand, was a little more perceptive, since he had spent more time with Lu Chen. He felt that Brother Lu seemed… very unhappy, perhaps even furious.
Why?
Clang—!
Another steel plate ceiling crashed to the ground, right into the debris at the entrance of the computer room.
“Let’s go,” Caesar shrugged. He now understood that Lu Chen was such a little monster in terms of combat prowess that he couldn’t hope to compare to him, but he could beat him in other areas.
Lu Chen yanked the masked man out of the debris by his collar. The debris crumbled behind and fell to the ground with thuds.
“Brother Lu, he’s not dead, right?” Chu Zihang asked. He felt that Lu Chen had seemed hellbent on killing this mysterious man in his fury.
The man had been hit with the force of a small plane. No matter how excellent his bloodline was, no matter how hard his bones had become after becoming a Death Servitor, surviving this sort of blow to the head was unlikely.
“Not dead,” Caesar could hear the mysterious man’s heartbeat and was somewhat shocked by the tenacity of this man. Even if it was that giant Death Servitor from before, he was sure that its brains would’ve been splattered all over.
“Give him a shot?” Chu Zihang took out an adrenaline shot. They were the secret agent duo after all—it was natural they would carry some emergency drugs.
Lu Chen did not reply, merely throwing the mysterious man on the ground, his foot on his chest, then reached out— and snapped his limbs one by one and removed his jaw, then indicated please.
Don’t be fooled by the ease by which Lu Chen easily incapacitated the mysterious man. Even in this state, his half-draconic form was still dangerous to the weakened Zihang and Caesar.
Even if he had to interrogate him, he had to make sure everything was okay.
“This thing seems to be stuck to his face,” Chu Zihang injected adrenaline, while Caesar tried to remove Osho’s mask.
Strange to say, no one knew what material the mask was made out of. It somehow didn’t crack even after receiving such a violent blow from Lu Chen.
Caesar exerted strength and heard the tearing of skin tearing. He stopped. They wouldn’t be able to see his face by taking off the mask like this.
At this moment, the mysterious man’s body twitched. As expected of this monster-like hybrid to have a reaction right after receiving adrenaline

However, it seemed like they wouldn’t have any torture time, because they heard uniform, booming footsteps.
The footsteps at the front of the line were firm and strong. The footsteps behind took on more confidence, as if the one leading them was an undefeated king.
Gen Chisei, who was clothed in his black trench coat. Behind him, the Execution Bureau members raised their guns and aimed at Lu Chen and the others, but they were stopped by Chisei’s raised hand.
“What’s going on?” Gen Chisei’s tone was not pleasant. He received a report that there was a horde of Death Servitors attacking Ganryuu Institute, but after offing a few Death Servitors roaming outside, they did not see any Death Servitors, only a river of blood on the ground and the broken bodies of the security personnel. And lastly, standing at the intersection of the computer room were the headquarters agents who weren’t even supposed to be there in the first place.
“Hey, don’t be getting angry at the wrong people now. Go in the computer room and see for yourself,” Caesar scoffed. Chu Zihang and Lu Chen didn’t say anything, only looking closely at the mysterious man on the ground who had begun to awaken.
Gen Chisei then noticed the man who was under Lu Chen’s foot. He walked quickly to Lu Chen’s side, causing Caesar and Chu Zihang to be on guard. Chisei spread his hands to show that he meant no malice while giving a look at the Sakura and the others for them to check the condition of the computer room.
Chisei leaned down to check and peel back the collar and expose the hideous scales, then looked at the Noh mask.
The Yamata no Orochi knew of the existence of the Mou Kishu’s “Ryuuma,” so they figured that there should exist a Dragon Lord and Osho, and the man in front of them was able to control a legion of Death Servitors. The Dragon Lord was said to be a woman, so there was a high probability that this was the legendary… Osho!
For a moment, Chisei did not know whether to be surprised or feel the absurdity of the situation. Although he didn’t know why the agents were here, they likely just captured the Yamata no Orochi’s biggest enemy, Mou Kishu’s Osho!
He stood up and carefully chose his words, “Thank you, agents of the headquarters… for coming forward with such righteous intent.”
He hesitated for a long while before deciding to classify this as a “righteous intent.” No matter what their reason for being here was, without them, the situation probably would have developed into an irreversible point.
The attack on Ganryuu Institute by the Death Servitors would probably be seen by these agents as explosive news, for the answers for the questions they had for the Japanese branch was now laid completely bare on the table.
Compared to the college’s previous suspicion that Japan was harboring some uncontrollable hybrid organization, this couldn’t be clearer confirmation!
The appearance of the Death Servitors exposed the existence of the Mou Kishu and the Evolutionary Medicine. The Japanese branch would be simply unable to explain itself.
It would be like that unless he killed Lu Chen and his group here, but this went against his moral compass, and plus, he wasn’t sure that he’d be able to fight against this teenager, who had trampled Osho to the ground under his foot.
