The cashier threw a disdainful look at Qin Feng, thinking that his words were way too straightforward. Curing any disease? That sounded so much like a con artist!
Qin Feng, however, did not care about his ridicule. He did not think that he was offended by the ironic tone used by the cashier.
To put it more frankly, the cashier and he did not belong to the same world. She could be forgiven because she had no idea what he meant.
But his reaction annoyed the cashier. She had thought about revealing Qin Feng’s purpose and expected to make Liu Xinran like her, but Qin Feng did not even respond to her.
She even believed that Qin Feng was ignoring her on purpose. She felt even more dissatisfied by his neglect.
She admitted that Qin Feng looked like a normal person and that he did have a handsome face. But the clothes on him could not have cost more than 200 yuan. How could she be looked down on by someone so small as him? Was he better than her?
“Ha, so pretentious!” The cashier continued to sneer as she said with a mocking tone, “I wonder how many people you have killed, Master? I wonder…”
The cashier had a sharp tongue. She had obviously sneered at many people before. She was about to knock down Qin Feng verbally when Liu Xinran suddenly snapped. “Shut up now!”
The abrupt scolding startled the cashier, who took a few steps backward. Then she looked at Liu Xinran in confusion, wondering why this lady from the Liu family was snapping at her. Was she helping this con artist?
Liu Xinran ignored the cashier’s confused look and turned to Qin Feng in surprise. The cashier was a narrow-minded person and had little knowledge about everything. Liu Xinran, however, was different.
She found Qin Feng’s words ridiculous too. But as she noticed the characters on the paper, she suddenly had a tremendous change of impression of this man.
There were only two characters on the paper, namely Qin Feng. They might look very simple, yet Liu Xinran was deeply shocked. Those characters were written so smoothly and beautifully, giving out an intimidating air.
Liu Xinran had witnessed many characters written by domestic calligraphers, but their works were nothing compared to Qin Feng’s casual handwriting.
Anyone who was able to put forward such beautiful characters could not have been someone ordinary. For one moment, Liu Xinran suddenly saw hope. She said to Qin Feng, “Do you have knowledge of Chinese medicine? Who is your master?”
“No, and I don’t have any master,” Qin Feng replied briefly. He was too lazy to make any further explanation, but Liu Xinran’s questions proved his guess once again. She had run into some medical problems.
Though her words made Qin Feng feel funny. She was asking him because she wanted to find his master, not him! She was in desperate need to find a highly-skilled Chinese doctor, yet she had just forgotten that this person was right in front of him!
Well, Qin Feng did not have to say anything more if this woman chose to give up on this opportunity. Everything should be fated.
Sure enough, Liu Xinran was disappointed and fell into silence.
Qin Feng did not speak with her any more. Instead, he took up a piece of paper and wrote down a simple prescription to the cashier. “Get the medicinal materials according to the prescription I have written.”
The cashier felt even more annoyed. However, when she recalled Liu Xinran’s treatment, she said nothing more. She got the ingredients accordingly.
Liu Xinran, who was standing next to him, kept staring at the prescription. She had an excellent memory, so after just a few seconds, she had already imprinted the materials in her mind. She decided to ask for advice from the Chinese medicine doctor she personally knew..
