Super Spender - Chapter 755
Chapter 755: Chapter 749: Another One for Davis
You can use any language, but even though there is Flame Nation script that basically sounds similar, the meanings are greatly different from those of Earth’s Flame Nation. Take this grain of sand for instance, it might just be a type of sand on Earth, but here this term and abbreviation surely has other meanings. However, Finn Lewis does not need to know this. He calls what he’s told to call. If Luna Starfield does not remind him, then that means it is not a big deal.
“Hmm, I’ll just call you Nasha then. Is this bank card really that important?” Finn Lewis asked curiously. Honestly, he had not asked Luna Starfield about this card before. Luna Starfield told him about its function just now, or else he would not have known about it.
“Yes, Your Highness. There are less than 100 of these in the entire Galactic Federation, and Star Bank has issued no more than 1000 in total. Once the owner passes away, the bank will immediately destroy it. This card represents you as the most prestigious client of Star Bank from the moment it is given to you,” Nasha answered respectfully.
“Damn!” Thought Finn Lewis, completely astonished. “How big is the Galactic Federation? And for how many years it has been developing? But they’ve only issued less than 1000 cards in total? And there are fewer than 100 in existence now? Holy crap! Now I get how important it really is. But why would they give it to me?”
Finn Lewis definitely did not believe that Star Bank issued him such a high-level bank card simply because he paid 100% in Roberts Coin. If it was just because of this, then there should be many more of these cards, not just the limited number that exists. The number of people on Earth who hold those top-level cards is surely more than a mere handful.
So there must be other reasons here. After thinking for a while, Finn Lewis asked: “In that case, can I get a card for my wife?” As soon as Finn said this, everyone around him was dumbfounded. Nasha was stunned and had no idea how to continue the conversation. “Bro, did I not make myself clear? I just said there are less than 100 in the entire Galactic Federation. Do you think we can just issue another one?”
“Well…usually these cards are not so easily issued,” Nasha, wiping the sweat off his forehead, said hesitantly. Offending a holder of a top-tier card is not good news, but Nasha did not dare contradict Finn Lewis. After all, it was not just his job on the line; even the head of Star Bank for the Capital Star area would find himself in deep trouble.
“No problem, there should be a Star Bank branch nearby. I can go there to try and obtain the card, can’t I? That’s how I got it last time, I guess,” Finn Lewis answered plainly.
“Of course, there is. Very well, please follow me.” Nasha breathed a sigh of relief. Finn Lewis was being quite reasonable, so Nasha straightforwardly led him to the Star Bank branch nearby, with Finn following him. Every single person there followed them as well. As for Eliot, Finn had already disregarded him. However, watching Finn and the others walk away, Eliot’s face darkened. After thinking a bit, he decided to follow them.
Finn had already noticed Eliot trailing behind, but he just ignored him. Since he knew Eliot potentially knew his identity and had come to cause trouble for him, he felt it best to remain unchanged and see how they would make a move. Currently, Finn had virtually no authority here. Being in the other party’s territory, he had to wait and see how they would act.
Star Bank was not too far away, and everyone quickly reached the main hall. Upon entry, a robot already approached them and directly said: “Mr. Lewis, welcome to Star Bank. How may we assist you today?”
“Well, this is my card, and I am wondering if I could get another one like this for my wife. Can you help with that?” Finn handed his new card to the robot. After scanning the card and looking at Kay Lee standing beside Finn, the robot paused for about ten seconds, then straightforwardly replied.
“Please follow me. Mr. Lewis, you still need to present corresponding items for this application,” the robot said promptly.
“No problem,” Finn nodded, understanding what the robot meant. It was referring to the Roberts Coin he had brought last time. Finn had only taken out one-fifth of it last time; he still had four-fifths left in his Dimensional Ring.
Inside the familiar room where others had no right to enter, Finn this time took out all his remaining Roberts Coin. The scene from last time recurred, with the humanoid robot almost crashing and even emitting smoke from its head. Finn was alarmed, but in the end, everything went smoothly. The process was similar to before, but the credit limit he received was even higher this time.
Last time, it was around 444.6 billion star credits, while this time, it was four times that amount, equalling a whole 2 trillion star credits. Of course, it was just a credit limit according to the artificial humanoid. In fact, these two bank cards had no credit limit. This limit was just the amount Finn owned. In other words, this limit was the amount of money he got by directly selling these things to Star Bank.
Regarding the card’s own credit limit, it was unlimited. The new card for Kay Lee had a number just next to Finn’s card number. This meant that since Finn received his card, there had been no one else who got another one.
“Wow! This is quite a treat, isn’t it? Is it comparable to the Black Cards from the North Federation’s Amex?” Kay Lee asked in a low voice.
“Yes, pretty similar. Basically the same,” Finn nodded, then added with a smile. “But it seems to have more advantages. It can be used anywhere in the entire Heritage System.”
“Is it really that simple to get? Although what we have is valuable, if it was just about being rich, then the amount of these cards shouldn’t be so limited,” Kay Lee said, confused.
“Hmm, I don’t know the reasons yet. But since they dare to issue it, we might as well take it,” Finn nodded lightly. If there weren’t any tricks here, that would be the real surprise. But Finn definitely didn’t know the true reason now. However, having this thing surely couldn’t be detrimental, could it?
