Super Zombie Factory - Chapter 25
Chapter 25: Lack of Money
In a corner not far away, Lu Chuan leaned against the wall, watching everything with a dumbfounded expression.
The seductive female nurse was one of the nurse zombies that Lu Chuan brought from the apocalypse. Lu Chuan’s plan was simple; Wang Guangji and his buddies had seen him, Uncle Zombie, and the others, so it wasn’t good for them to take action.
But with other zombies on the way, there wouldn’t be such a limitation.
He brought over a female zombie mainly because of her gender. She would be better tolerated and won’t cause too much trouble.
He splurged one hundred thousand yuan, and the seductive female nurse appeared.
Lu Chuan admitted that even though he knew the identity of the seductive female nurse, he was amazed when he saw her. A stunner like her was indeed lethal to men.
Fortunately, Lu Chuan knew her true appearance. Hence, he was stunned for only a few seconds before he recovered.
Seductive?
This was because they didn’t see what she looked like in the apocalypse. Lu Chuan remembered that one of her big white breasts was rotten, her teeth were black, her tongue was gray, and there was an inky, unknown liquid flowing from her seven orifices… But when she came to modern times, she was beautified by the biochemical plant’s disguiser program.
When the seductive female nurse took action, she had an effect beyond his imagination.
And this violence made Lu Chuan feel pain for Wang Guangji and the others.
She was wearing stilettos, one of the top ten weapons.
Lu Chuan wasn’t the slightest bit burdened after beating a villain. Instead, he felt a little relieved.
“Let’s leave first.”
Seeing the seductive female nurse approach, Lu Chuan left immediately.
The main reason for sending the female zombie zombie was for Wang Guangji and the others to be beaten without reason, for them to not suspect him so that they couldn’t report it to the police.
……
“There’s another mouth to feed.”
Lu Chuan instructed the female nurse zombie to enter the room and not to wander about in front of him. He was a hot-blooded man and couldn’t stand the provocation.
If she were really like this, Lu Chuan wouldn’t mind using his authority as the boss to gain some “welfare.”
But whenever he thought about her treacherous appearance, how could he still have those thoughts? Lu Chuan couldn’t appreciate such strong tastes.
Would Lu Chuan regret spending a hundred thousand yuan to beat Wang Guangji? Of course not. If there was another chance, Lu Chuan would do it again.
With the arrival of the female nurse, Lu Chuan gained some understanding of the disguiser program.
The zombie’s style determined the type of clothing given by the disguiser program.
For instance, the female nurses were seductive and revealing. They were not suited to appear amongst the general population. Lu Chuan did not want their identity issue to be exposed, hence, he had to keep a low profile.
The female nurses would need to change their outfits.
However…
“F*ck!”
After inquiring with the biochemical plant, Lu Chuan was exasperated.
An outfit change would ruin the disguiser program.
If he wanted an outfit change, he would need to pay a hundred thousand yuan.
In other words, a set of clothes cost one hundred thousand yuan.
Many tycoons didn’t even wear clothes that cost so much. They might wear clothes worth a few thousand, tens of thousands, or three to fifty thousand, but there weren’t many who wore clothes that cost a hundred thousand yuan…
Lu Chuan was low on funds so it was impossible for the female nurse zombie to have an outfit change.
With the current situation, they would have to wear their clothes for at least a year; they were unlikely to change.
Lu Chuan’s money would mainly be invested in manufacturing zombies and could not be wasted on outfit changes.
……
“Dad, I sent you ten thousand yuan.”
“Dad, don’t worry. Don’t you know the kind of person your son is? I just resigned and I’m working for myself at the moment. I just received two orders and the money is the profit from a supplier I have connections with.”
“I know, we won’t earn money through underhanded means.”
“Okay, I will stay safe.”
“All right, Dad, I’m going to hang up, you and Mom take care of your health. This money is for the both of you to enjoy. Your son is working by himself now, and in the future, I’ll have plenty of money.”
After he was done, Lu Chuan hung up.
Their concern made Lu Chuan’s heart fill with warmth.
Now, Lu Chuan had the money-making biochemical plant and millions of dollars from his peddling, but there weren’t many places for him to squander the money. However, squeezing out 10,000 for his parents wasn’t a problem.
Parents became wealthier because of their children; he couldn’t let his parents suffer.
Ten thousand yuan wasn’t a big deal. Lu Chuan wanted to give them more, but it might be too abrupt and cause them to worry.
Besides, he told them that he was working for himself and in the future, when he sent them money, he could say that it was from his business. Surely they would feel more at ease taking that money.
This was also a reason to give them money, otherwise, it would be difficult to explain the source.
Lu Chuan sensed the crisis countdown in his mind. Time was still ticking: 4 days, 3 hours, 22 minutes, 55 seconds.
After two days of “ant moving,” there was a pile of things in the warehouse.
Lu Chuan arrived in the biochemical plant and felt a headache as he looked at the countless luxury products. Dealing with the items was indeed a problem that made his head hurt.
Lu Chuan could guarantee the authenticity of the products.
But who would believe him when he brought them to modern times?
He could set up a street stall but some of these brand-name bags cost tens of thousands, and some were worth more than 100,000 or 200,000. How would he sell those?
Ten thousand or twenty thousand?
Nonsense.
Did street stall patrons have such purchasing power?
These were luxury products, he couldn’t just sell a LV bag for a few hundred yuan. At that price, Lu Chuan would rather let them rot in the warehouse.
“It is necessary to find a channel to deal with these products.”
Lu Chuan pondered, stroking his chin.
There were many channels to sell gold and diamonds, but not many for selling luxury goods. It was easy to deal with just one or two bags but now, the bags, clothing, perfumes, and other products had piled up into a mountain.
In two days, he had gold and diamonds worth millions again.
The 22 zombies swept the area within one kilometer of the biochemical plant. They worked day and night, through the floors, inside and outside the rooms, taking everything regardless of its value to the warehouse.
Within five or six days, the wealth within a kilometer’s radius seemed to have dried out.
If it hadn’t been taken by the survivors before, with the prosperity of the area, the gold and diamonds alone would be more than a billion. But now, the total worth was less than 20 million.
In the pawn shop, items worth 20 million would bring in 7 or 8 million yuan.
“I’ll look for Li Kangsheng again to sell the gold.”
Lu Chuan seemed to have made up his mind. He placed the gold and diamond jewelry he collected in the past two days into the storage space and brought it back to the modern times.
These past few days, there hadn’t been any trouble or anyone following him. Hence, Lu Chuan knew that Li Kangsheng was still trustworthy.
Merchants chased profits, not to mention a business owner like Li Kangsheng who ran a pawn shop. He would be more concerned about profits.
He could make a fortune by selling the goods on hand. Lu Chuan believed that he would not refuse this kind of business and wouldn’t try to discover his means.
Smart people would choose to earn their share instead of trying to take everything.
Faintly, Lu Chuan already had a plan in his heart on how to establish his own stable source of funds and not rely on this sort of method to sell the gold.
If the quantity and frequency of gold sales increased, there would definitely be problems. It was certainly a bad idea.
He had a huge quantity of gold and wouldn’t be able to withstand the investigation if relevant authorities were alerted.
Lu Chuan was now taking risks, but with the looming crisis of the zombie attack, he had to do so.
