Supreme Vision Master - Chapter 26
Chapter 26: Too Defenseless
Luo Qingtong raised her eyebrows as she looked in the direction the boy was running.
Just now, she was already prepared to fight and was filled with a murderous intent even towards the young chap.
If he dared to rush at her and use her as a shield, she would’ve definitely killed him straight away!
However, she didn’t expect the boy to just run away after glancing at her and even lure the giant pythons away.
Looks like he didn’t lure the giant pythons here on purpose nor did he have intentions of using me as a shield. He just ended up here by mistake!
Unfortunately, it was too late.
Luo Qingtong narrowed her eyes while sniffing the faint smell that lingered in the air.
This kind of scent would cause monsters to go nuts and relentlessly chase after someone.
Clearly, this was the reason why that boy was being chased by those demonic giant pythons.
Right now, due to the wind, quite a bit of the scent had already tainted Luo Qingtong’s body.
Even though the young boy had stopped in time and lured most giant pythons away, many pythons still followed the smell and were charging towards Luo Qingtong.
They obviously viewed her as a target.
“Troublesome.”
With her brows knitted tightly together, Luo Qingtong immediately leaped up.
Whoosh!
She bolted in the direction of the young boy.
To get rid of these giant pythons, she still had to rely on the young man!
If she guessed correctly, the young boy must’ve taken some medicine that made these giant pythons go crazy. This was why his body exuded the kind of scent that attracted and caused the pythons to pursue him relentlessly, making them so determined to devour him.
To eliminate the scent, she would have to get rid of the medicine in his body!
Whoosh!
Luo Qingtong sped towards the pythons that had rushed over to her.
With her Vision, the giant pythons’ Achilles’ heel was as dazzling as a light in the dark night.
The jade hairpin in her hand swept across the air.
A giant python instantly let out a desperate hiss and its body, which was more than ten feet long, violently twisted and swayed in the air, sending several giant pythons nearby flying.
Luo Qingtong easily dashed out from the huge gap in their siege and dashed in the direction of the boy.
Before leaving, she still remembered to snag a few herbs from the tree next to her.
“Hiss!”
By the time she hurried over, the young boy’s spiritual tools could no longer hold up.
The defensive glow of the spiritual tools had vanished and he stumbled to the ground from the strong wind behind him caused by the sweeping of one of the giant python’s long tails.
“Oof… Wah!”
Seeing the huge python head charging towards him, the young boy was extremely petrified.
Even so, he insisted on not crying out for help.
He knew that no one could save him in the depths of this dense forest.
Tears came gushing out, streaking his face that was as fair as white jade, making him look pitiful and adorable.
He bit down on his lips even harder till they started bleeding.
Just when the young boy’s despair had reached its max, a gust of wind suddenly swept by with a whoosh.
Something firmly grabbed onto his waist and in the next second, he had already risen high up in the air.
“Fairy… Fairy Sister!”
Staring in shock at the stunning beauty right before his eyes, the young boy was stunned.
Perhaps it was because he had been rescued by her that Luo Qingtong stunned him immensely.
She was like a ray of light, bestowing hope and life to the desperate young man looking at the long darkness ahead of him.
“Wah! Fairy sister!”
The boy cried and hugged Luo Qingtong as if he was clutching at his last straw.
Luo Qingtong had simply saved him in passing. Who could’ve imagined that the young boy would suddenly hug her and burst into tears as if he had seen a family member?
Such defenseless and intimate behavior took Luo Qingtong by surprise.
If she didn’t know any better, Luo Qingtong would’ve thought that the young chap was acquainted with her.
Isn’t he acting too defenselessly…?
Why doesn’t he wonder if I might’ve been sent by his enemies?
Fine! He was chased and attacked by giant pythons and couldn’t even save his own life. If I were an enemy, I must’ve really had nothing better to do if I came to rescue him.
