Chapter 45: Pulling Her Into His Arms
Feng Sujin wasn’t angry at the unkind tone, “Mr. Jun is a good person. I know he is.”
Qiu Wenzheng snorted coldly, “Humph, you know nothing! When you were drugged at the Dark Place, he called me at night and injected you with an antidote. But before, he wouldn’t contact me even if he was shot. I say this because I want you to know that he is respectful to you and he won’t hurt you when you are unconscious. Do you know what would have happened to you if you didn’t meet him? I think you know without needing me to tell you.”
Feng Sujin’s face became pale. She knew that Jun Mohan saved her that night and she thought something had happened between them, but it didn’t. Instead, he used another method to save her.
Qiu Wenzheng looked at Feng Sujing’s expression and continued, “You don’t need to doubt what he did. He wouldn’t go that far for you if he didn’t care about you. Did you know that he gave up on an extremely important plan to come back after you went missing? His expressions changed so much when you were unconscious. He guarded you for one day and night without eating or resting. Perhaps you don’t think it’s a big deal but we know him well and he had never done this much for a woman. No matter why he has chosen you, you need to treat him well since you two are together. Don’t ever think of harming him.”
Although Feng Sujin didn’t like the way Qiu Wenzheng spoke, she still secretly thanked Qiu Wenzheng for telling her these things.
“Doctor Qiu, rest assured. Mr. Jun is kind and I owe him, I won’t harm him.”
“Hm, you better do what you say. If he likes you, you better like him back too.”
Feng Sujin was shocked. This doctor sure is weird, he even intervenes in other people’s relationships!
Qiu Wenzheng felt uncomfortable under Feng Sujing’s odd glance, “Alright, he’ll worry if I say too much.”
Qiu Wenzheng waited till Feng Sujin walked away and breathed deeply, almost vomiting blood.
God damn it, he almost made Feng Sujin misunderstand him for Jun Mohan’s sake. Especially that last glance, it almost made him blow up! But whatever, he will have to play the bad guy — he just hoped that Jun Mohan could find his happiness this time.
Jun Mohan’s car parked not far from there. Feng Sujin only had to walk a few steps and got in the car.
Jun Mohan saw Feng Sujin’s strange expressions and asked, “Did he say something weird to you?”
Feng Sujin glanced at him and hesitated as she carefully chose her words before speaking carefully, “Mr. Jun, you… do you like women?”
Jun Mohan immediately understood what she meant with her words and expressions.
His face became dark and a storm roared in his eyes as if he was going to swallow her.
Feng Sujin saw Jun Mohan’s reactions and her heart skipped a bit.
Did she guess it right? Did she overstep?
“Mr. Jun, you… you don’t have to worry, I… I won’t tell anyone. You saved me, I will help you…”
Jun Mohan had never felt so angry before, this girl is surely something!
He looked at her mouth opening and shutting, but he couldn’t bear to listen to what she had to say and he wanted to shut her up. Jun Mohan pulled Feng Sujin’s wrist and pulled her forward.
Feng Sujin crashed into Jun Mohan’s arms without a warning and the cool and indistinct fragrance immediately surrounded her.
Jun Mohan landed a light kiss and spoke into her ears, “Do you know if I like women now?”
Feng Sujin wanted to crawl into a hole as he teased her, her face burning even more.
Jun Mohan stopped teasing her and explained softly, “Don’t take Qiu Wenzhen seriously no matter what he said to you. He’s not a bad person, just stubborn. If I didn’t let him speak to you privately, he would have tried to find a way to speak to you later. If I don’t know when he’ll do that, I might as well watch from the car so at least I know you are safe. Do you understand now?”
Feng Sujin covered her face and nodded, “Mhm, I understand.”
Jun Mohan’s lips curved upwards when he heard her mosquito-like voice. “Sit properly, I’ll take you home.”
On the way back, Jun Mohan drove and Feng Sujin watched the scene outside the window quietly, slowly calming down.
