Chapter 54: Change Habits
In the manor.
Feng Sujin felt exceptionally shy after she cried and looked at Jun Mohan in embarrassment, especially when she saw that a part of his shirt was soaked from tears. She pinched the edge of her dress and lowered her head.
“Sorry, I just lost control of myself.”
Feng Sujin looked even more helpless and lost, making her look more delicate and touching.
“I could help you wash your shirt.”
Jun Mohan looked at Feng Sujin in amusement and smiled, “You really don’t need it for crying anymore?”
Feng Sujin was blank for a second, not expecting to hear him say something so light.
She shook her head, “Sorry to make you see that, I will work hard to be stronger in the future.”
She didn’t want to cry but Jun Mohan was special to her. Jun Mohan could provide her a sense of security and hence, she would only reveal her feelings in front of him.
Jun Mohan shook his head and stood up, “Sleep early, I’ll go shower.”
Feng Sujin watched him leave and thought that even the way he walked was so attractive. In Feng Sujin’s eyes, Jun Mohan was good looking in every single way and she was dazzled just by watching his back.
She stared blankly for a bit, then and took another look at the marriage certificate before putting it in the drawer carefully. When she held it in her hands, she did it ever so carefully.
She laid in her bed and sighed. As she pulled the blanket over herself and closed her eyes to sleep, she realized something. Perhaps tonight, she will sleep in the same bed as Jun Mohan. When she thought of this, even her breathing became tense.
Feng Sujin’s nerves became tense and her body was rigid because of nervousness. Perhaps she laid down for too long and became tired, because even as she fought to keep her eyes open, she eventually fell asleep.
After Jun Mohan finished tidying up, he went straight to the study. When he finished dealing with the work in his hands, it was already late. He returned to the bedroom and found the light still turned on, but his little wife was already asleep.
Jun Mohan walked over slowly and looked down at Feng Sujin.
Her sleeping face was peaceful, tear marks still visible at the corner of her eye as she didn’t wipe them off completely before. Lights flashed in his eyes as he stretched out his long, slim finger and wiped away the tear at the corner of her eye. He sighed and got onto the bed from the other side, pulling the blanket over himself lightly and tucking in some corners for Feng Sujin.
Not knowing how long it had been, Feng Sujin, still in her dreams, subconsciously leaned to one side.
Jun Mohan slept lightly and he was highly vigilant. He immediately became alert when someone was close to him. He opened his eyes abruptly and cold lights flashed across it with killing intentions, but when he saw the person who was close to him, he didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He wasn’t used to sleeping with someone next to him and he knew that he had to change this habit.
He paused for a while and then stretched his arm out lightly, pulling Feng Sujin into his arms.
The next day, the room was already empty when Feng Sujin woke up. But she was confused, didn’t Jun Mohan come back last night? Why doesn’t she have any impressions that he did?
She had a good dream last night — she dreamt of delicious chicken drumsticks. As she recalled her dream, she became hungry and got up, ready to have breakfast.
After Feng Sujin brushed her teeth and washed her face, she headed to the living room on the first floor. Jun Mohan was sitting on the couch watching the news in comfortable clothing, looking extra attractive.
