Chapter 60: Ready To Strike
Mi Liangse’s face was distorted. The makeup on her face didn’t match with her expression and the manner of a young lady disappeared.
“Brother, the news and media usually don’t dare report on House Mi’s matters… I don’t know who’s behind them, but they are still targeting us. It’s already been a few days.”
Mi Lianghen was a handsome looking person but he was fierce. He poured a glass of water for his sister and said, “Don’t be angry, we’ll turn the tables this time.”
Mi Liangse looked at her brother’s expressions and narrowed her eyes, as she knew him well, “Brother, did you do something to offend someone?”
Maliciousness flashed across Mi Lianghen’s eyes, “Nothing really. Didn’t you say that you didn’t like Feng Sujin? I arranged someone and did something to her.”
Mi Liangse felt annoyed just by hearing Feng Sujin’s name alone. When they were at Empire’s University A, Feng Sujin was better at them in every area yet she was still expelled. Later after Feng Sujin returned to Beiquan City in a difficult position, she somehow managed to climb up to House Lan. Now that House Lan abandoned her — on the wedding day no less — she completely lost her reputation and Mi Liangse felt pacified.
Whenever someone mentions Feng Sujin, Mi Liangse was reminded of someone at the bottom of her heart: Nalan Yunqing. Hence, there was no way she could like Feng Sujin, and the worse Feng Sujin lived, the happier Mi Liangse’s heart.
Mi Lianghen was aware of this too.
Mi Liangse asked calmly, “Brother, what happened at the bar, did you do it?”
“Yes, but she was saved later. That person must’ve had a good background. The video of her at the bar was gone, our people were kept silent, and I can’t even investigate who that man was.”
Sketchiness flashed across Mi Liangse’s eyes, “Brother, send someone to watch Feng Sujin closely, we’ll know eventually.”
“No, House Mi is already like this — we should solve our problems first. If someone’s supporting her from behind, we’d be pushing ourselves to the muzzle of a gun. That person’s style of work is very fierce, we should wait and see.”
Mi Liangse looked at her brother, unwilling to settle with his decision.
“Liangse, you need to know that because of House Mi, we are where we are at now, and we have the right to step on top of others. If there’s no House Mi, how can you put others under your feet?”
Mi Lianghen mentioned the most important part and Mi Liangse took it in.
Mi Lianghen continued, “And our plan to devour House Feng is in progress, Feng Sujin will be nothing without House Lan’s protection and House Feng.”
Mi Liangse finally compromised when she heard this, “Feng Sujin, I won’t let you live a good life.”
Mi Lianghen knew that there was an obsession in his sister’s heart and it seemed to have formed during university. However, he didn’t know the details, only that it had something to do with Feng Sujin.
…
On the other side, Feng Sujin took the files and studied it carefully, telling Ye Mei to take House Mi’s skincare products to special test institutions to be analyzed. Since Mi Liangse wanted to make House Mi become glorious again through this, then Feng Sujin will use the same method to make Mi Liangse slap her own face.
It wasn’t until later that Feng Sujin was told that when she studied in the Empire, Mi Liangse played a part in causing her to be expelled and how much Mi Liangse beat her down daily.
Feng Sujin wasn’t a good person and she decided that she’d get everyone back now that she’s able to. She studied House Feng and House Mi carefully, eventually deciding to start with House Mi.
