The once bustling hot spring resort was sparsely populated at this hour. Even so, there was still something of a relaxed atmosphere, which could only be expected in a hot spring resort.
As I wandered around, I was threatened by a cat. I was a little shocked. I wonder if my mom and sister have cooled down by now. I needed them to cool down. I can’t sleep at the moment.
There was a convenience store at the end of the street. These convenience stores usually have local products. As I turned to buy some snacks to take back home, I heard a faint roar in the wind.
“Is it really Mandragora?” (Yuki)
I could not be fooled by blind guesses. As I approached the voice, somewhat excited by my unexpected discovery, I saw a woman crouched down. I wondered if she was having a seizure. She seemed to be in a lot of pain.
“Men are all garbage. There are no good men in this world. Okay? It’s not that I can’t get married, it’s just that I won’t. You idiot.” (???)
…… Yes? Oh, this is a bad one!
She’s spitting out a curse. The faint smell of alcohol. I put my phone back in my pocket, thinking that I should call an ambulance. I thought about it for a moment and quickly came to a conclusion.
“Let’s pretend I didn’t see it.” (Yuki)
“Aaah?” (???)
“Oh no!” (yuki)
Our eyes met.
The glistening eyes look at me as if they were licking my entire body.
“You’re going to ignore me when I’m in pain! That’s why men are such assholes!” (???)
“Shut up, you drunk woman.” (Yuki)
“I’m not drunk! What kind of education do you kids get these days?” (???)
“I was taught that if you meet a strange woman, you should run away immediately.” (Yuki)
It is the teachings of my great sister. I have been blindly following her, but now that she has fallen, my trust in her has slightly diminished. However, I can only agree that it is better not to get involved. At the very least, I have a feeling that the person in front of me is going to be troublesome.
“Well, I have something to do.” (Yuki)
“Wait!” (???)
She stands up lazily and comes towards me. Her eyes are completely seated. And she smells of alcohol. I don’t know why she was drunk in this place, but it’s none of my business. It’s an eternal mystery to me why I always end up getting into nasty trouble.
The mysterious drunk was taller than I expected, maybe a little taller than me. This gave me a strange sense of intimidation. I wondered why she was creeping up on me.
“Children shouldn’t be wandering around at this hour.” (???)
“You don’t really think your words are convincing, do you?” (Yuki)
“Shut up! I’m in a ……bad mood because I shouted…… loudly.” (???)
“What?” (Yuki)
“Ororo-ro-ro-ro-ro-ro-ro.” (???)
She grabbed me by the shoulders and vomited in my face.
Haha, I see. So, you’re a youkai face vomiting woman, huh?
What was it, a Youkai? Then I guess I don’t have a choice!
There’s no way someone would get involved with a person they’ve never met before and vomit on them.
The sour smell of gastric juice filled the air around me. In fact, I could smell it on me. Fortunately, I didn’t have anything in my stomach or I wouldn’t have seen any solids, but it was still a miserable situation. What a mess. Of course, my clothes were covered in vomit.
“I …… feel like …… ugh!” (???)
The woman crouched down again. Without saying anything in particular, I headed straight for the convenience store. Oh, the clerk gave me a nasty look. That’s right, of course. I’d be surprised if a customer covered in vomit suddenly walked into the store. It’s not your fault. It’s my fault. No, it’s not my fault either! It’s the youkai that’s at fault. It’s the youkai that did this!
I bought what I needed and returned to the youkai. The youkai was still there in the same state. I had hoped that I was hallucinating, but it was real. Very unreasonable.
“Here, drink this, please.” (Yuki)
I gave her the liver hydrolysate tablets and drinking water that I had bought.
Why do I have to take care of a demon……?
“What? It’s a sleeping pill, isn’t it? Don’t try to trick me~. If you do anything strange, I’ll send you to jail~” (???)
It was rejected. Putsun [TL: Snap sound]
“Shut uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup! Now drink up, you little bitchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!” (Yuki)
“Fuwa?! gogogoogogogogo!” (???) [TL: drinking sound]
I shoved a plastic bottle in her mouth. Along with a pill.
“Gogogogogo Bu fu ~u~tsu! No, no, no, no, I can’t— gogoogogogogogog” (???)
“Drink it! Drink up! Come on, drink uuuuuuuuuuuuuup!” (Yuki)
There was no mercy. 500ml of water was running out.
The plastic bottle is empty. In front of me was a limp youkai.
The ghost’s resentful eyes looked at me.
“Later, you’re going to have to remember …….” (???)
“You should go home and be quiet instead of staying here.” (Yuki)
In any case, there’s no point in worrying about it since I’ll never see her again. This is the last time I’m going to watch youkai. I would say ” monster”, but I have no ties to Okayama.
And as for me, I’m sick of being covered in vomit, so I want to get back and take a bath as soon as possible.
When I tried to go back to the inn, someone grabbed my leg from behind. She was acting more and more like a youkai.
“Wait” (???)
“I need to get back to……. Don’t worry, I’m not interested in you.” (Yuki)
“Who do you think I am……?” (???)
“Youkai face vomiting woman.” (Yuki)
“I’m a human being! I may look like this, but I’m not ……!” (???)
“What?” (Yuki)
“Don’t.…… tell anyone.……” (???)
“I’ll take my leave here” (Yuki)
“There’s no way I’m letting you go!”
The youkai was crawling towards me. It was a completely terrifying image. If it hadn’t been for the fact that my mental strength is so strong that I don’t mind horror at all, I’d be in trouble.
“Hurry up and get me to my room! It’s your fault, you know~!” (???)
“Is this, by any chance, what you call being possessed?” (Yuki)
That’s what you often hear about ghosts. I wondered if I had been possessed by a youkai. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the skills to get rid of it. What should I do with this ……?
“No…… word…… out……. If that happens, my life will be over.” (???)
“Isn’t that already pretty much over?” (Yuki)
“Shut up! Hurry up and carry me!” (???)
“I don’t know where the Youkai live, even if you say so.” (Yuki)
“It’s not that far away. We can make it if we hurry.” (???)
Before I knew it, the youkai that had come to haunt my back whispered softly in my ear.
“Eh, really?” (Yuki)
The youkai lived in the same “Ryokan Umibara” as we did.
“Uooooooooooooooooooooooo!” (Yuki)
“Ahahahahahahaha! Hurry hurry uuuup! Ugh, I’m starting to feel sick!” (???)
“Don’t throw up! Don’t throw up! Don’t you dare throw up!” (Yuki)
“It’s coming from the top and the bottom.” (???)
“Both of them, close the main valve tightly!” (Yuki)
“Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! I’m still– pfft. …… Ooh-lo-lo-lo!” (???)
“Geez! It’s warm and it stinks! Don’t throw up on my back!” (Yuki)
I blast off the way I came with the youkai on my back. It seems that she was vomiting from above my head on my back. I think it’s too much of a terrible thing to go through. I was just out for a walk, and I don’t know how I got into this mess. ……
When I returned to the inn, the receptionist looked at me with horrified eyes, but that was not the point. I ran as fast as I could to the room I had been told about by the youkai. The room I wanted was just around the corner.
…… is a last-minute winner.
“What is Hey, what is the last minute” (???)
The Youkai muttered in seriousness.
“Yes. Keys.” (Yuki)
“Oooooooooooooooooooooooo!” (???)
I tried to open the door with the key she gave me, but it didn’t work due to the youkai’s rampage.
“Stand still! I’m throwing up!” (???)
“It was a mistake to be so relieved when I saw the room. You can never be too careful.” (Yuki)
“….? What are you talking about……” (???)
“Ah♪” (Yuki)
I could feel the warmth in the air.
“No way… she collapsed…..?” (Yuki)
“Zzzzzzz” (???)
“Don’t pretend to be asleep.” (Yuki)
“Hahaha ……. I had a bad time. ……” (Yuki)
“You’re finally home. What’s wrong?” (Yuri)
“Uwaaa! Oh, Nee-san!” (Yuki)
“Yosh, Yosh. Come, I’ll comfort you under the covers.” (Yuri)
“Crap. That didn’t work either.” (Yuki)
I threw the youkai into her room and crawled back to my room.
As they say, all’s well that ends well, but this was the worst possible ending.
I wondered if the youkai was alone, there was no one in the room. She was sleeping with a satisfied expression on her face, oblivious to the presence of others. I couldn’t make her change her clothes, and there was nothing I could do. I had no choice but to leave her lying there in her room. The only thing I got out of it was a feeling of exhaustion and dirty, soaked clothes.
“…… What’s really going on? Something stinks.” (Yuri)
“I’m very aware of that.” (Yuki)
Fortunately, it seems that this inn has a coin-operated laundry. I’ll go wash up later.
“Mother has gone to bed. I was waiting for you.” (Yuri)
I guess she was tired from all the work and housework. Mom was sleeping peacefully and comfortably. Thank you for always taking care of me. I’ll send her my gratitude.
“I’m sorry. I was going to leave earlier, but I got possessed by a youkai.……” (Yuki)
“……Youkai?” (Yuri)
“I’m going to take a bath.” (Yuki)
It was nice to have a hot spring bath in the room.
It’s summer, so it’s not too bad, but I’m still sweaty at this hour.
I was exhausted. I’ve never been this tired before, even during club activities.
My muscles, which I don’t usually use, were tense.
I soaked in the hot spring and let out a big sigh of relief.
“Fue~. So this is a family trip.……” (Yuki)
This is the first time I’ve experienced a family vacation, and it seems to be quite difficult. I didn’t expect it to be so tough. To be honest, I didn’t feel at ease at all. One after another, unexpected things came at me.
“I’ll wash your back.” (Yuri)
The owner of the voice was, of course, my sister.
So many unexpected things came at me like this!
Apparently, I haven’t been able to relax yet since I came here.
