Chapter 137 You Said No but Your Body Language Says Otherwise

Lin Huai delegated the missions and asked Chu Wenxing to bring his men to the music college whereas he remained in Yulan College for classes. That way he could also come up with a name for the bar so that he could get the signage made as soon as possible.

Lin Huai returned back to college and Teacher Pu Yingxue was in the midst of her lesson. When she saw that Lin Huai was back, she was delighted. There were fewer music classes compared to other subjects and as Lin Huai was not around in college most of the time, this was the first music lesson that Lin Huai attended in a while.

“Class has already begun and you are ten minutes late. Hurry up and take a seat. Make sure you don’t come in late next time.” Although Pu Yingxue was reprimanding Lin Huai, her voice was still gentle and pleasant.

Lin Huai felt a tug at his heartstrings and he felt overjoyed. Being scolded by Pu Yingxue was still an enjoyable process. He quickly agreed with her and returned back to his seat.

During music lessons, all the students were excited; especially the guys who were all in high spirits.

Lin Huai was the class representative and Pu Yingxue was also rather close to him. Thus, most of the questions during the lesson were thrown at Lin Huai to which he was able to easily answer.

When classes were over, Lin Huai called upon Pu Yingxue. A student next to them was quick to react and brought a chair over for Pu Yingxue. She sat down and asked, “Why, what happened?”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “Teacher, can you and Mianmian help me to come up with the name of my bar so that it sounds nicer?”

Pu Yingxue and Wei Qimian hesitated. Pu Yingxue then said, “I haven’t been to a bar before but I have heard of such a saying; the saying is that a newly opened shop doesn’t need to have an amazing name but instead you need a name that is easy to remember.”

Lin Huai thought about it and nodded his head in agreement. “Makes sense.”

Pu Yingxue smiled and said, “That’s why coming up with a name is not like writing lyrics for a song. It doesn’t have to be extremely elegant. In fact, I actually thought of a name but I have no idea if it’s suitable. Why don’t you name your bar as Love Bar? What do you think?”

“Love?” Lin Huai thought about it for a moment. Then, he looked at Mianmian and asked, “Mianmian, what do you think?”

Wei Qimian smiled and said, “That depends on the target audience of your bar. If the main customer group you are targeting is couples, this name would be very suitable. Also, as long as your bar is not an extremely messed up place, it should be fine as well.”

“Alright then, looks like we got a name for the bar.” Lin Huai heaved a sigh of relief and said, “The bar I am opening would be a simple one and not those messy and illegal bars. Thus, this romantic and simple name would be a very suitable name.”

Wei Qimian smiled and said, “Congratulations, Boss Lin.”

“Haha, congratulations to you as well. My bar is also yours so if I am the boss you are the wife of the boss!”

Wei Qimian blushed and she groaned, “I am not the wife of the boss. You never know who would be your wife in the future.”

“Haha, why are you so shy? Anyway come by and show me some support whenever you all are free. I can treat you all to free drinks.”

Pu Yingxue smiled and said, “How is that showing some support to you? Don’t worry I would definitely get my colleagues to go over and support you. A discount would be good enough, you don’t have to give us free drinks. In the business world, you cannot think of treating your friends for free. Otherwise, you would never be able to make money.”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “Alright then. Thank you for your kind gesture. However, I will waive the bill on your first visit. That’s okay right? Treat it as my welcome drink and in the future I would only give some discounts.”

Pu Yingxue replied, “Well… Alright then. Thank you. However, are you sure you don’t want to complete your studies before going out to work? I actually don’t agree with your decision. I think that students should focus on their studies. After all, there are certain things you can only do for so long whereas knowledge is something that would be useful throughout your entire life.”

Lin Huai smiled and said, “Even when I am busy outside, I would still study on my own accord. Therefore, my grades would not drop.”

Pu Yingxue sighed. “Alright then. Since you have already made up your mind, I will not interfere. Nonetheless, I hope you can keep what I said in mind because knowledge would benefit you for the rest of your life. In fact, I really don’t agree with you mingling around in the underworld. Mianmian, why didn’t you talk some sense into him?”

Pu Yingxue had no clue about Lin Huai’s actual identity but Wei Qimian knew. Even if Lin Huai was not mingling in the underworld, he would not be around in college as well. After all, Lin Huai was not a student but rather a bodyguard here on a mission.

Wei Qimian smiled and said, “I can’t do that. He wouldn’t listen to me.”

Pu Yingxue replied, “If he doesn’t listen to you, he wouldn’t listen to anyone else then. After all you two are already a couple.”

Lin Huai actually nodded his head and said, “Yes. We are a couple.”

Wei Qimian rolled her eyes at Lin Huai and then she jokingly said, “Since that’s the case, from today onwards, you are not allowed to mingle in the underworld. You have to accompany me every day in college till we graduate. How’s that?”

Wei Qimian’s heart was thumping. Although she knew that chances were slim, she could not control the expectations deep within her heart.

Lin Huai was also very vexed. Why did I crack such a joke? I just shot myself in the foot.

Lin Huai gulped and gave a dry cough. He apologetically smiled and said, “I would really love to accompany you in college till we graduate. However there are certain things that I have no choice but to…”

Pu Yingxue said, “Why are there things that you don’t have control over? You are already the big boss of the college. Who else is able to control your actions? I think you merely wish to mingle in the underworld right?”

My goodness. If I had not agreed with Thunder God’s proposition, I have no idea what you and your family would have to go through. The person that pretended to be my brother was a leader of the underworld. I have no idea what actions he would take.

However, Lin Huai did not want Pu Yingxue to worry so he kept it a secret from her.

Upon seeing that classes were about to begin, Pu Yingxue quickly stood up and said, “I am going to make a move first. Lin Huai, you are my music representative in class and also one of the top students. I hope that you are able to take into account my advice and think about what I said. Stop mingling in the underworld.”

“Okay, I will think about that.” Lin Huai knew that Pu Yingxue was a kind person. Otherwise, the previous incident would not have occurred. She treated every student with a genuine heart so even when Lin Huai disagreed with her, he chose not to say it out loud as he did not want to hurt her.

Pu Yingxue walked out of the classroom and she sighed. She knew that Lin Huai was just brushing her off. For some reason, she felt extremely uncomfortable and sad. Compared to other students, Lin Huai’s actions affected her the most even though she also cared for the other students. I truly care about him and it’s to the point that it may have exceeded the concern an ordinary teacher would have for a student. I care about him as a friend or even someone even more intimate. But Lin Huai already has a girlfriend!

Pu Yingxue chose to keep those feelings hidden within her heart. However, the more she tried to suppress it, the more uncomfortable she felt.

Wei Qimian suddenly whispered, “Lin Huai, do you think that Teacher Pu caught feelings for you?”

Lin Huai froze in his spot before laughing and saying, “How is that possible? She is my teacher.”

Wei Qimian said, “So what? She is only slightly older than you.”

Lin Huai could not help but laugh. “You are thinking too much. Teacher Pu Yingxue treats every student with a genuine heart and she truly cares for every student. Her care and concern for me is merely out of her standpoint as a teacher.”

“Gosh, you are so dumb.” Wei Qimian had a complicated look in her eyes and she gently said, “A man like you would never be able to understand the thoughts going through a girl’s mind. Even if you all had tried to understand what a girl was thinking, it would still be insufficient. Teacher Pu Yingxue had caught feelings for you since a long time ago. Back then I stayed in the same room as her so even if other people were not able to notice that, how could I not notice that?”

Lin Huai was stunned. He was in complete disbelief. Could that be true? Teacher Pu Yingxue caught feelings for me?

Lin Huai suddenly saw that Wei Qimian was glaring at him. Thus, he immediately let out a dry cough and with a solemn look on his face, he promised, “I don’t have any feelings for Teacher Pu Yingxue. My love for you is so deep and I love you to the moon and back. You have to believe me. Although I know I am attractive and a lot of girls like me, my love for you is everlasting and undying…”

Wei Qimian blushed and she groaned, “I don’t believe your nonsense. It also looks like your nonsense has elevated to another level where you end up copying the lyrics of romantic songs. So exaggerated.”

Lin Huai coughed and said, “Even though it’s a song lyric, it’s able to accurately express my feelings.”

Lin Huai suddenly grabbed onto Wei Qimian’s hand and gently rubbed against it. Wow, her hand is so smooth and soft.

Wei Qimian tried to escape from his grasp but she was not really squirming to get her hand out. Furthermore, she clearly did not have the strong intention of escaping from his grasp. Either way, they were already a couple so holding hands or kissing were just ordinary actions. They already did everything an ordinary couple could have done other than having sex. They were in fact much more innocent as compared to other couples.

When their morning classes were over, Lin Huai held onto Wei Qimian’s hand as they walked to the canteen. Their friends from the dormitory did not come by to disrupt them and interrupt their alone time. During their meals, Lin Huai displayed his love and affection for Wei Qimian as he fed her.

Wei Qimian secretly enjoyed that but on the surface she rolled her eyes at Lin Huai because she was rather shy. “There are so many people looking at us. All you know is to showcase your love and affection.”

Lin Huai chuckled. “Don’t you like the feeling of showcasing our love and affection?”

Wei Qimian blushed but deep down in her heart she was delighted. She pretended that she did not enjoy it and said, “I don’t like it.”

Lin Huai sighed and said, “Women are such weird creatures. On one hand they say no but deep down in their heart they were yearning for it.” Lin Huai suddenly asked, “Do you want to go to a hotel and have sex tonight?”

“No!”

“See, what did I say?”

Wei Qimian was speechless.
