Chapter 36: Master of Identifying White Lotuses
Mo Qing frowned as he glanced at the Feng family members, then turned to Feng Ruchu and asked, “Are you going back to the Feng family?”
When Feng Ruchu left the main hall, Mo Qing had hidden his presence and followed her. Along the way, Mo Qing had overheard the conversation between her and Little Zhu. Due to Little Zhu, he managed to recall the existence of Feng Nianchu.
From what he remembered, Feng Nianchu was also gifted when he was young, but an accident had severely injured his inner alchemy and destroyed his spiritual roots. Since then, he had been in a coma.
Mo Qing had always been indifferent to worldly affairs, so he just regarded it as an insignificant matter not worth mentioning.
“Your Grace, Ruchu is my younger sister. She was framed by someone the day before yesterday, and has been missing since then. My father and I are extremely relieved to see that she is still alive. However, Ruchu must be traumatized by recent events, both physically and mentally. I would have taken good care of her and nursed her back to health once we returned home, but…”
Feng Fei’er acted like a filial daughter from a noble family, and bowed to Mo Qing elegantly. As a disciple of Cihang, the Saint could be counted as her grandmaster. If she could attract his attention or be fortunate enough to receive his guidance, it would be a great honor to be among the millions of disciples within the Cloud Palace.
Feng Fei’er dabbed at her eyes and sobbed a little, looking remorseful as she said, “Unfortunately, Fei’er’s medical skills are not up to par, so it will be difficult to restore Ruchu’s damaged spiritual meridians.”
Feng Ruchu curled her lips and thought, ‘What a cheeky white lotus slut!’
Mo Qing narrowed his eyes and said tonelessly, “Your poor medical skills are the result of your laziness and stupidity. Even if you whine to me, it won’t change that fact.”
“Pfft!” Feng Ruchu couldn’t stifle the laugh that burst from her mouth.
She thought he would say something like, “I will grant you a set of books”, but this was completely unexpected! My my, the Saint was certainly a master at identifying white lotuses!
She really liked his behavior!
“What are you laughing at? I didn’t say anything about you.” Mo Qing squinted at Feng Ruchu disapprovingly. He noticed the ice blade spinning back and forth around her, and twitched his finger. The dagger-sized ice blade was instantly drawn to her hand, and transformed into a silver ring blade on her index finger.
Feng Ruchu’s eyes widened in surprise, and she exclaimed excitedly, “Your Grace, you are amazing! What kind of spirituality is this? Please teach me!”
One must be proficient in ass-kissing, as well as kicking the donkey’s ass.
The donkey being the Crown Prince, in this case.
Feng Mo’er snorted scornfully and said, “Once a good-for-nothing, always a good-for-nothing. There’s no need to make a scene for something like that!”
The ice blade was an illusion created by the Saint, and it could be transformed into various shapes. Even a spiritual master with low capabilities could do it, but Feng Ruchu was so amazed by it.
Refined things certainly didn’t suit a barbarian like her.
Feng Ruchu simply ignored her and skipped towards Mo Qing. Her beautiful eyes were gleaming, but her smile seemed tense.
“Your Grace, why don’t I go home and check on Feng Nianchu and recuperate for the next few days? You can teach me the spiritual technique after that; I promise I will work hard and excel at it.”
Her last two sentences made Feng Fei’er blush in anger. Her expression was difficult to read.
Feng Mo’er was furious. “Feng Ruchu, who the hell do you think you are? How dare you seek the guidance of the Saint?”
Feng Ruchu tilted her head and looked at her with a mischievous smile. “I’m your sister, so since we are practically cut from the same cloth, what do you think? What are you made of? Tell me so I can understand myself better. ”
“You…” Feng Mo’er couldn’t argue with her point, and scowled in irritation.
