After resting for so many days, Luo Lingxing finally returned to school. He realized that ever since starting school, he had spent more time outside than in school. This led to him, who did not understand much of this world’s culture, to gain even more homework.
The only thing he could be thankful about was that the performing arts major had a bit less cultural classes than other majors. It had more specialized classes. This let him catch his breath otherwise he would definitely be in an extremely difficult position in school.
As soon as Luo Lingxing entered his dorm room, he saw a large unknown shape run towards him. When he was thinking about dodging, he heard an excited voice call from that large shape, “Xiao Luoluo, you’re finally back!”
After a second, he was embraced by that unknown shape. Of course the hug lasted less than a second because the unknown shape called Xia Yuan was immediately pulled back by the collar by someone named Yang Zekai.
“Xiao Kai, what are you doing? I want to use my love to hug and welcome back Xiao Luoluo,” Xia Yuan turned his head and said disapprovingly.
However, under Yang Zekai’s stare, Xia Yuan was immediately frightened.
Seeing the two of them get along as usual, Luo Lingxing felt that it was very familiar. These two people could be considered the first friends he made after coming to this world. Although it started out as a one-sided friendship made by the other person, he didn’t reject him.
After Luo Lingxing greeted them, he returned to his room to tidy his things. Moments later, his door opened and Xia Yuan’s cute and round head appeared.
“What’s wrong?” Luo Lingxing saw Xia Yuan standing at the door, not coming in and asked.
“Xiao Luoluo, you don’t know how far Xiao Kai went while you were away. He wouldn’t let me eat snacks and forced me to eat regular meals. I ate till I almost barfed,” Xia Yuan pitifully complained to Luo Lingxing.
Although they hadn’t spent much time together, he understood some of the other’s living habits. He could tell that this child was hungry.
Luo Lingxing walked to his suitcase and pulled out pastries that he had specially brought back and gave it to Xia Yuan.
“Specially bought for you. This portion is for Yang Zekai. Take it and give it to him,” Luo Lingxing said.
“Wow~ Xiao Luoluo, you’re the best! I love you so much!” Xia Yuan was excited and his catchphrase came out. He suddenly felt a sharp gaze shooting at him from behind, making him quickly say goodbye to Luo Lingxing and slam the door shut as he went to share the pastries with a certain someone behind him.
Luo Lingxing shook his head, already used to Xia Yuan acting like this.
“Beep beep beep…” The video call notification sounded. Luo Lingxing put down the items he was tidying up and opened the video call. Han Junzhan’s handsome appearance immediately appeared on the screen.
Han Junzhan first took a look in the surrounding area through the screen and discovered that it was Luo Lingxing’s room and that there wasn’t anyone else there before saying, “Did you eat dinner yet?”
Luo Lingxing was surprised, since in his mind, the other person didn’t give off the impression that he would talk with others about daily activities. However, he still replied, “I already ate. What about you?”
“Aunt Lin is cooking now,” Han Junzhan replied.
“Oh. How about I head to the military district and start training again tomorrow?” Luo Lingxing said after thinking about it.
“Okay, I’ll pick you up. Are you having any difficulties with your coursework?” Han Junzhan asked.
Luo Lingxing felt like he had endless words regarding this topic. Because to him, the coursework really was like illegible writings. Liberal arts was a bit easier, but things like sciences, he couldn’t understand one bit. When Han Junzhan had taught him before, he was able to understand a bit more.
Since Han Junzhan had used a simple and easy method to teach Luo Lingxing last time, he would take out two hours every day to tutor Luo Lingxing through his homework.
Luo Lingxing did not understand the science system of this world one bit. Therefore, Han Junzhan could only start teaching him from the elementary school level. Fortunately, Luo Lingxing’s comprehension and learning skills were very high or else he would have countless red failed marks on his test papers.
But despite this, he still had too much to learn. Until now, he had only learned the material for up to middle school.
At home, Han Junzhan was there to tutor him, but now that he returned to school, he could only rely on himself. Life truly was hard.
“Turn on your holographic mode. I’ll teach you anything you don’t understand.”
Han Junzhan’s words were like liberation to Luo Lingxing. “That’s great! But how do I turn on the holographic mode?”
“…” Han Junzhan carefully instructed Luo Lingxing on how to turn on the holographic mode, then Luo Lingxing discovered that Han Junzhan’s entire body appeared beside him. If he hadn’t reached out and saw that he couldn’t touch him (HJZ), he (LLX) would’ve thought Han Junzhan had actually appeared right beside him. It was too realistic. It was like the clone they used to use.
After arriving in this world, he found that the people of this world couldn’t cultivate because this world didn’t have spiritual energy. Many cultivation methods had already been lost. And in this kind of ordinary world, they used their ordinary human methods to invent such high tech things. And some parts of this world didn’t lose to his previous era.
For example, the people of this world couldn’t fly on flying swords but they could still fly in the sky by relying on hover cars. They also didn’t have any sort of magic but they could rely on their system to create any type of scene. They clearly didn’t have the ability to create clones of themselves but they could use their terminals to create a holographic projection.
In short, the more Luo Lingxing discovered the mystical parts of this world, the more he loved this world.
Two hours quickly passed and Luo Lingxing learned many things. Han Junzhan spoke with him for a bit longer before turning off the video call, returning to the military district to take care of some affairs.
Walking out of the bedroom, he found Xia Yuan sitting on the couch eating snacks and reading comics by himself.
Hearing movement from behind, Xia Yuan turned his head to look at Luo Lingxing, excitedly waving at him and said, “Xiao Luoluo, I saw that you created a Weibo yesterday. Hurry up and let’s follow each other!”
Hearing Xia Yuan mention this, he remembered that he hadn’t gone onto Weibo since creating his account. He turned on his terminal, his followers list had already broken ten thousand. Although this amount of followers isn’t anything to mention to other celebrities, Luo Lingxing was still exceedingly happy about it.
“Xiao Luoluo, I just followed you. Hurry up and follow me back. My account is ‘Brother Yuan Wants to Eat Cake Today,’” Xia Yuan said as he waved the quantum computer in his hand.
“Okay,” Luo Lingxing replied and opened his followers list. The first one was Xia Yuan’s account, so he hit follow back.
Because of the incident of Ye Luohan and him following each other yesterday, Luo Lingxing received a lot of Power of Faith. So if he mutually followed Xia Yuan today, would it be the same as yesterday? Luo Lingxing was excited as he thought about it.
It was evident that Luo Lingxing had understood the earth shattering incident from yesterday differently from everyone else. If those fans knew what Luo Lingxing was currently thinking, who knew how much blood they would spit out in response to it.
“Xiao Luoluo, you haven’t posted a single thing on your Weibo. That just won’t do. You need to interact with your followers more so that they will like you even more.” Xia Yuan browsed through Luo Lingxing’s Weibo and discovered that besides the official Weibo notice, his account was completely empty.
“Is that so?” Luo Lingxing tilted his head and asked. Nobody told him how to operate Weibo so he didn’t know what to do. However, looking at other people’s Weibo, he saw that they did post often. Moreover, his fans were also making a fuss, asking him to post something on Weibo. So wouldn’t it be good if he posted something now?
However, he wasn’t able to type just yet, so how would he post a Weibo message? It was a bit worrisome.
Although Luo Lingxing learned a bit on how to use the quantum computer, he still didn’t understand how to type on it. He especially found those 26 crooked characters very detestable. He studied for a long time but still couldn’t remember them, so he gave up learning them in the end. In any case, he could usually use speech when he was looking something up. But it was different for Weibo. You couldn’t send a voice message on it, and so Luo Lingxing, who had come from a different world, was very distressed.
In fact, he could find someone to help him text. But to him, since he was going to interact with his own fans, he felt it would be more sincere if he posted the message himself. This way, he wouldn’t let down the fans who had supported him. If he found someone else to do it for it, it would cheapen the sincerity.
“Yuanyuan, besides texting on Weibo, is there another way to post?” Luo Lingxing asked the only other person currently in the living room.
“You can also post pictures on Weibo.” Xia Yuan didn’t understand the true meaning behind Luo Lingxing’s words, but he still unexpectedly gave out a good idea.
That was right. He could write on a piece of paper, take a picture of it, and post it on Weibo. Luo Lingxing, who found a way to use Weibo, asked again, “How do you send a picture?”
”This, this, and this…” Xia Yuan described in detail how to use Weibo and didn’t notice that there was actually someone who didn’t know how to post a picture on the often used Weibo.
After Luo Lingxing learned how to send pictures, he immediately returned to his room.
He found the fine writing paper and highest quality writing brush that Han Junzhan had given him, laid it down, then wrote down character by character what he wanted to post on Weibo.
Nowadays, few people knew how to write using a brush, let alone an ancient writing brush. Except for the calligraphers and those who loved calligraphy, there was barely anyone else who knew how to use brushes. If Xia Yuan appeared at this moment, he would definitely be very shocked.
However, Luo Lingxing had come from another world and was more familiar with writing with a brush.
Luo Lingxing saw that the first post most people had on Weibo was an introduction, so he decided to write his own name.
With each horizontal and firm stroke, the brush in Luo Lingxing’s hand seemed to have a life of its own. Moments later, the sentence “Hello, everyone. I’m Luo Lingxing,” appeared vividly on the paper. The writing technique was very exquisite, each stroke confident and graceful, containing power and hidden meaning and flowed like water. Even those who didn’t understand calligraphy would gasp in surprise when they saw it.
Luo Lingxing laid out the completed words on the table, examining it all over, and thought it was missing something. He thought it over, then pulled out a tiny seal from his space.
The seal was carved by his imperial older brother when he was still a prince, and he’d always carried it with him. It was just that he rarely used it later in life. He never thought that the next time he used the seal would be in a future era.
He pressed the seal on the red ink, then carefully stamped the seal next to a couple of the large characters. He now thought it looked a lot better.
Using the terminal, he took a picture of the characters then posted it on Weibo. Luo Lingxing’s first Weibo post was finally completed.
