The Mafia’s Bride Snatcher - Chapter 34
Chapter 34 Secret Path
Irina’s perspective:
I panted heavily and lay on Ravi’s chest. My soft breasts were pressed against his firm abdomen. Ravi took the coat on the passenger seat and put it on my back. He lay on the seat with one hand behind his head and the other gently stroked my head.
“Your heart is racing.” I had one ear pressed to his chest.
“My heart races every time I see you.” He ran his fingers through my hair. “Since when?” “Since the first time I saw you.”
“Is it in that basement?”
“Yes. I was going to let Ivan kill you, but when I passed that basement, I saw you unconscious on the floor, like a sleeping beauty. You were beautiful.”
“Then you sat in the corner and waited for me to wake up?”
“No.”
“What did you do?”
“I kissed you on the forehead.”
I looked up at Ravi’s face. He didn’t look like he was joking.
“Is there anything else you’ve done that I don’t know about?” I traced circles on his chest with my index finger.
“I asked Maria to bring the cheesecake to you quietly. I also deliberately placed the hot chocolate at the top of the stairs. What else? When you fell asleep on the table, I carried you to bed.”
“And you kissed me in my sleep, right?”
“Yes.”
“I always suspected it was a dream.”
“So did I. A girl as beautiful as an angel living with me. I always suspected it was a dream.”
“It’s indeed suspicious. An angel and a devil are living together.” I smiled and touched Ravi’s lips with my index finger.
He grabbed my hand, kissed my fingers, and sat up with his arms around me. He touched my face with one hand and looked into my eyes lovingly.
“Baby, thank you.”
“For what?”
“Thank you for coming into my life. You’re the one who made me afraid of losing you and being forgotten.” “I should thank you, Ravi. You made me feel cherished and you gave me a great sense of security.”
I kissed his lips and he held me tightly in his arms.
We got dressed and got out of the car. I wanted to walk towards the garage exit, but I was led in the other direction by Ravi. In an inconspicuous corner of the garage, there was a metal door. I thought it was an equipment room or something.
Ravi pulled open the door and there was an elevator. There was an identification system at the elevator door. Ravi stood in front of the camera and the machine scanned his face. The elevator door opened.
“Where does this elevator lead to?”
“You’ll know in a while.”
With a ding, the elevator door opened. Another steel door appeared before me.
“Open the door.” Ravi said to the sound pattern recognition system at the door and then the iron door slowly opened to both sides.
“Oh my God, there’s a room like that in the house!” I couldn’t believe my eyes. There were guns of all sizes hanging on the walls to the left and right. “It’s a gun museum.”
‘You could say that. These are all my collections over the years.’
I admired Ravi’s collection one by one. Ravi introduced every firearm’s muzzle range, and lethality to me. I had to say that Ravi could be considered a firearms expert. Among the many guns, I saw a small pistol. I took it down and played with it in my hand. It was heavier than I thought, but the size was very suitable for my hand.
“It suits you. Do you know how to shoot?”
“I’ve never learned it.”
“I’ll teach you.”
“Previously, you said that you wanted to teach me how to drive. You didn’t fulfill your promise.”
“I won’t break my promise this time. I’ll teach you how to drive and shoot myself. This gun is
yours.”
“Thank you. Which gun do you usually use?”
“This, this… and this.” Ravi pointed out three completely different guns.
“What’s behind this door?” I asked, pointing to the door on the other wall.
Ravi pushed open the door. It was his bedroom. It turned out that this gun room was hidden behind his bedroom wall.
“I didn’t realize there was a door hidden here before,” I exclaimed.
“There are still many things you need to know. I’ll tell you one by one.”
“It’s getting late. I’m going to sleep. Good night, Ravi.” I stood on tiptoe and kissed his face before turning around and returning to my room.
I slept soundly that night.
