The Mafia’s Bride Snatcher - Chapter 36
Chapter 36 Intruders
Irina’s perspective:
I said goodbye to Emma and Robert and walked towards the school gate. At this moment, I saw a girl in a mini skirt with her thighs exposed get out of the driver’s seat of a sports car and walk towards Ravi. She leaned against Ravi’s hood and the two of them chatted. Then, Ravi took out a lighter and lit the cigarette in the girl’s hand.
I felt inexplicably angry, but I didn’t know why. They hadn’t crossed the line, but I just felt a little angry.
“Do you know the girl?” I asked Daniel.
“No, I don’t.” “She seems to be very familiar with Ravi.”
“It must be the first time they’ve seen each other.”
“How can you be sure?”
“Ravi usually only sees this kind of woman once. There won’t be a second time.” Daniel shrugged.
The woman let out a long puff of smoke and got up to walk to her sports car. After taking a few steps, she looked back at Ravi and winked seductively before driving away.
“Ravi.” I walked forward and saw Ravi opening his arms to me. I threw myself into his arms and looked up at the handsome man in front of me who had women hitting on him all the time. He kissed me on the lips and then led me to the front passenger seat.
“I’ll drive today.” I was suddenly interested. “Okay, I’ll teach you.” Ravi turned around and led me to the driver’s seat, then helped me close the door.
“First, you need to fasten your seat belt. This is the accelerator and this is the brake.”
I stepped on the gas pedal. The car didn’t move.
“You have to start the car first, baby,” Ravi said with a smile.
I pressed the switch and the car started. Ravi turned the gear. I stepped on the accelerator and the car suddenly drove out. Fortunately, Daniel, who was outside the car, dodged quickly enough. The car rushed straight to the side of the road. Ravi held the steering wheel and shouted, “Brake!”
Thank God I still remembered where the brakes were despite my panic. I stomped down hard and heard a bang as the car stopped. I wrapped my arms around the steering wheel and didn’t dare open my eyes for a long time.
“Irina.” I heard Ravi call my name and opened my eyes. “I forgot to tell you just now. Remember, never close your eyes when you’re driving. Never.”
I nodded fiercely, then unbuckled my seatbelt and got out of the car.
The right front corner of the car hit a tree and created a deep depression. Ravi squatted by the car and examined it carefully.
“I’m sorry. I crashed your favorite car.” I squatted beside Ravi.
“How did you know it’s my favorite car?” “Because you usually drive this car the most.”
“Yes, this is indeed my favorite car. It was a college gift from my mother.”
“I’m sorry, Ravi.”
“It’s okay, baby. As long as you’re not hurt, no matter how precious an item is, it’s not as precious as you. Now, the person I cherish the most is you.” He tucked my hair behind my ear with his fingers and looked at me gently. “Do you need help?” A woman’s voice came from behind us. I turned around and saw that it was the woman who was smoking with Ravi just now. From afar, I only thought that her figure was top-notch, but up close, I realized that her facial features were gorgeous. “No, thank you.” I got up and walked to Ravi while sizing up the woman. “Alright then.” She shrugged and glanced at Ravi from the corner of her eye. “Goodbye.”
I watched the woman get into the car and drive away. Although I didn’t want to admit it, this woman was really unforgettable. She had a confident aura and was beautiful.
“Let’s go home. I’ll cook as compensation,” I suggested. The driver came to take us home.
I pulled Ravi up the stairs and escorted him to his own room.
“Take a shower and change. Dinner will be ready soon.” I smiled.
Ravi rubbed my hair and walked into the bathroom.
