A few minutes later, Cheng Gong and Hao Pi walked into the supervision control room and took their seats respectively.
Cheng Gong glanced at the dozens of screens in front of him. The numbers of screens had been reduced to a large extent as the participants kept getting eliminated.
A few dozens of screens were enough to contain the remaining people.
The three mentors were paying extra attention upon the screen that showed the girl from Planet Trash and Zhao Qingyan.

The girl from Planet Trash had developed this cooking method after three days of consuming mushroom soup consecutively.
The three mentors were taken aback by this new method of cooking.
They even suspected that the girl had proved gifted in culinary skills.
Lan Jiao crushed the clay that had been caked in fire and found herself a box of salted mushroom chips. She sat down and shared them with Zhao Qingyan.
“I used to love desserts, because they are sweet, really delicious. But your salted snacks are scrumptious as well! I believe that my taste buds will expand in the future!” Zhao Qingyan reacted with glee in her voice
She had been absolutely correct in deciding to team up with Lan Jiao. She got to taste such heavenly snacks that she had never even heard of before.
Lan Jiao was glad to see Zhao Qingyan enjoying the crisps.
“Since the ingredients are limited, this is all we can eat. I will make much better food for you when I get a chance in the future.”
Lan Jiao added further. “Apart from cookies and mushroom chips, I can make many other desserts and snacks.”
Lan Jiao’s earlier intention had been to conquer Zhao Qingyan with tempting food, to receive her help during the entry examination.
But after spending some time with Zhao Qingyan, she realized that they shared many similarities.
Zhao Qingyan might look cold and distant, but was a total foodie inside her heart!
The more they talked with each other, the more friendly they became!
“Do you know what Yolk-Crisp is? It is a salt and sweet pastry, crispy on the surface, soft and sticky in the middle. The flavor is really tempting. One bite contains three different kinds of flavor, and the tongue can sense something great as it rolls over the mixture. In this way, all the delicacies are blended, leading to a great flavor!”
Zhao Qingyan started to drool, disregarding her image, while Lan Jiao was describing the pastry.
Without the handkerchief, she had to wipe off her lip corner with her palm. She swallowed a mouthful of saliva, with a bright expression in her eyes.
“Lan Jiao, when we go to Alliance Star in half a month, could you please make the Yolk-Crisp for me? I can pay you with however many coins!”
Hearing Zhao Qingyan’s words, Lan Jiao shook her head. That made Zhao Qingyan become anxious.
“Please take it as a favor I owe you. I will do anything for you whenever you need me!”
