The Pet’s Temptation - Chapter 1
No matter how hard it is. So what’s the groom’s crime? The man who would have been happier than anyone else, what would he be left alone at the wedding?
“Oh, what’s going on?”
“The groom ran away right now, right? Oh My God.”
In the midst of the murmur, Hae-Soo felt motion sickness. Her head was spinning and she felt nauseous inside. But she held back her stomach and grabbed the bouquet more tightly. If she, “uuk!” and vomit here, others may add ridiculous rumors for the one that are not here.
For example, morning sickness, or premarital pregnancy, false rumors.
‘Pull yourself together, Min Hae-Soo!’
She strained her legs and raised her neck straight. She never imagined that the common cliché would become a reality with only the positions of men and women changing. However, just because she didn’t imagine it, she couldn’t unconditionally deny the reality in front of her and let her mind go.
Anyway, this reality is hers, not anyone else’s, and even if the only thing that comes out in front of this situation is swearing, she’ll have to deal with it first.
‘When it comes to responsibility, it’s Min Hae Soo. Let’s get it together.’
Hae-Soo shouted to himself as if she were pressing herself, and then recovered her breath. Then she turned slowly and looked at her parents. The parents sitting in the wedding hall looked puzzled as if they had not yet accepted the situation. Whether to take it as a relief, a bitter smile came out of itself.
However, after trying to erase her expression, she calmly winked at her friend, Kang Ye-jin, who was sitting in the guest seat.
‘Ye-jin, please take care of my parents!’
Ye-jin, who has been a good friend since they were in middle school until now, nodded hurriedly when she realized what Hae-Soo’s wink meant. Hae-Soo breathed relief only after seeing Ye-jin approaching her parents, and then turned her eyes again.
Unlike her bewildered parents, the faces of those who ‘nearly became’ her parents-in-law were earthy. How shocking would it be that their only son left the bride in front of their eyes and ran away with a woman?
It happened just before the officiating ceremony began. A woman of her age who appeared at the wedding hall shouted “I love you” to the same name. And Dong-Myeong ran out of the wedding hall with the woman without even saying sorry.
It seems that the guests were not the only ones who were surprised at the sight of a tuxedo-clad man running away with another woman leaving a bride in a wedding dress. Hae-Soo sighed silently as she looked at strangers snooping near the entrance to the wedding hall. Then, she turned to the university teacher who had taken time out of his busy schedule to officiate.
“Professor.”
“Hae-Soo, this is…….”
“I’m so sorry to show you this, professor.”
“Oh, no, you shouldn’t apologize. I never imagined that Dong-Myeong would act so rashly.”
Only then did the university teacher come to his senses and narrow his forehead. His anger and disappointment seemed to be quite great as he readily agreed to officiate because it was the wedding of his two beloved disciples. Hae-Soo apologized once again to the university teacher and chewed her lips with her head down.
‘Seo Dong-myeong, you son of a bitch.’
She took a deep breath as she cursed inwardly at Dong-myeong, who had fled irresponsibly. She looked down and saw her hand holding a bouquet. And he’s wearing a spotless white wedding dress.
‘A pure white bride…….’
It was so funny. She thought it was amazing that she chose a wedding dress to see this.
Hae-Soo held back her laughter and raised her head. As if he had finally grasped the situation, he could see his parents looking pale and at a loss. Also, the parents of the same name, who tried to manage the situation somehow with a perplexed expression, caught hre eyes. Hae-Soo’s expression on the face of his friends and relatives at the wedding was calm.
She strode gently to the seat where her parents were sitting. Then he put the bouquet down on the small table in front of her.
“Hae-Soo, what the hell is going on here?”
Her mother hurriedly spoke, as if waiting for Hae-Soo to approach. But she didn’t really say anything to her mother. She didn’t know anything about this situation because she didn’t either.
