- Chapter 7-1 - The Silver Hamster’s Daily Life Chapter 7-1
At lunchtime, Yang Qingwei met several new students and ate with them.
Yang Qingwei’s EQ is very high, and it only took a little time to be friendly with some female classmates sitting beside her.
Ruan Yingyin was as alone as usual. After ordering her meal, she chose the most secluded place and sat there before beginning to eat.
She sat in the position from where she could see all the people coming towards her. If Jiang Xingyuan and his minions came, she would be able to see them first and leave quickly.
However, who knew what he was busy with today and didn’t show up even when the lunch break was over.
The one she was dreading didn’t come, but the one who came towards her was Yang Qingwei with her face red with anger.
If it was Yang Qingwei, Ruan Yingyin wouldn’t hide. After all, Yang Qingwei is not as perverted as Jiang Xingyuan.
Ruan Yingyin was sitting alone at a table, there were not many people around her. Students were afraid that if they and Ruan Yingyin got close, Jiang Xingyuan would be dissatisfied and retaliate against them.
Yang Qingwei sat opposite Ruan Yingyin and asked directly, “Why did you tell everyone about your relationship with me?”
Ruan Yingyin froze for a moment, her chewing speed slowed down as she asked, “What do you mean?”
Yang Qingwei snickered and crossed her arms, “My mother and I moved into the Ruan family today, didn’t you tell everyone about it? Do you know what everyone is saying about me now? That I relied on my mother’s lover to get into Qinzhong.” Yang Qingwei was angry, because she got into Qinzhong clearly relying on her own abilities.
Yang Qingwei’s voice was lowered and the expression on her face was still soft. But the eyes looking at Ruan Yingyin were as fierce as a tiger and the words leaving her mouth was sharper than blade, “My mother and Uncle Ruan are now husband and wife, don’t you think what those people are saying is too much? It’s not my mother who told Uncle Ruan to do that.”
Ruan Yingyin’s lips were stained with a white rice grain, she subconsciously stretched out her tongue and rolled the white rice grain into her mouth before saying, “I didn’t say that.”
Yang Qingwei shook her head and snickered, “You didn’t say it, so who else could it be but you? Who else knows about your relationship with me?”
Someone’s face flashed in Ruan Yingyin’s mind as she thought of Jiang Xingyuan.
She gently looked at Yang Qingwei and explained, “In morning self-study class when my deskmate asked me what I did yesterday night, I told him I had dinner with my father last night. I told him the truth, and also mentioned you. Perhaps my deskmate unintentionally mentioned a few words to other students, and then they speculated the rest.”
As a villain in the novel, Jiang Xingyuan not only hated the cannon fodder Ruan Yingyin, but also the male and female protagonists Yang Qingwei and Liang Yuan. It was possible for him to reveal this news with added vinegar in order to make Yang Qingwei feel bad at school.
Yang Qingwei’s hand trembled slightly, she almost threw the food she was holding onto Ruan Yingyin as she said with gritted teeth, “Ruan Yingyin, don’t go too far.”
Ruan Yingyin gently bit her chopsticks and said, “But I really didn’t say anything bad. Your mother and my father are already married. Sooner or later, your identity will be revealed. At that time, without knowing the truth, people will continue speculating things and spreading rumours. Just wait until the monthly exams, when the results will come out, everyone will know your strength.”
Yang Qingwei was still dissatisfied as she said, “Ruan Yingyin, you better be clear about one thing; don’t piss me off, or it won’t do you any good.”
After saying that, Yang Qingwei left with her tray.
After having lunch, when Ruan Yingyin returned to the classroom, Jiang Xingyuan had already returned.
Ruan Yingyin took a small white soft fur pillow and put it on the table to catch on some sleep in the morning.
Jiang Xingyuan, who was leaning on the back of the chair, was typing with his cell phone.
Noticing Ruan Yingyin’s movement, he looked up, then reached out and grabbed the pillow before pulling it out under Ruan Yingyin’s head. Putting it behind his head, he leaned on it comfortably.
Ruan Yingyin’s head knocked on the table with a thud, causing her to scream softly in pain. Rubbing her forehead, she raised her eyes and looked at Jiang Xingyuan aggravatedly.
Jiang Xingyuan coldly swept her glance.
Ruan Yingyin pursed her lips, lowered her head, and took out another identical small pillow from her school bag.
Jiang Xingyuan narrowed his eyes.
He took her hairband but she had another one. Stepped on one of her chocolates and she again had the exact same one.
Now he took a pillow from her, and she had another similar one.
Jiang Xingyuan stretched out his hand and opened his palm in front of Ruan Yingyin, as he said in a deep voice, “Give it.”
Ruan Yingyin clutched the small pillow and looked at him with a wrinkled forehead. Her whole body was excluding excessive resistance.
She looked at the palm of Jiang Xingyuan and softly whispered, “Classmates Jiang, I can’t sleep without the pillow.”
“Then don’t sleep.” Jiang Xingyuan hooked lips slightly, his eyes swirling with a little unusual interest, “Do not let me say it again, or you won’t be able to afford the consequences.”
Ruan Yingyin lowered her finely shaped eyebrows, and reluctantly handed the small pillow in Jiang Xingyuan’s hand.
Jiang Xingyuan grabbed the pillow and stuffed it directly behind him.
Two of the first legs of the chair were up in the air, Jiang Xingyuan was balancing it with his feet that were kept on the horizontal bar under the table. Leaning his whole body on the chair, he looked very comfortable.
Ruan Yingyin admonished herself many times in his heart, before resisting the urge not to kick one foot of the chair he was sitting on.
She pinned a few strands of hair that were obscuring her vision as she simply took out her math workbook and started writing her homework.
