Chapter 33: Taken Back to Ansir’s Place
From the moment I flew out through the skylight, I imagined my final destination for landing—perhaps Ansir was feeling playful and would leave me somewhere nearby; or perhaps he was kind enough to bring me back to school and give me a place to stay.
But the only thing I didn’t expect was for Ansir to take me back to the mansion where he lived alone.
This was Ansir’s own villa. It wasn’t as majestic as the previous castle, but it looked clean and elegant.
Later on, Ansir said that he hated being disturbed, so he specially bought a mountain and built this villa.
The area around the villa was considered uninhabited. There were only patches of grass, gardens, and forests that were specially tended by people. It was like a primitive, wild, and beautiful scenic area.
He walked into the villa. It was decorated in the gorgeous gothic style of the palace. The decorations were more or less sinister and mysterious.. The colors were darker, and there was basically no light.
After all, although vampires were no longer afraid of sunlight, they still retained the habit of liking dark nests.
When the villa’s butler heard the sound of the door opening, he led his servants out respectfully.
The butler was a very gentlemanly and elegant middle-aged man, and his professionalism was top-notch. He didn’t show any surprise or surprise at my sudden visit. He only bowed slightly. “Young Master Ansir, do you need me to prepare dinner for you?”
Ansir nodded. “Yeah,” he said, then glanced back at me. “Get her a room.”
The butler bowed slightly and nodded. “Yes.”
Did Ansir mean for me to stay here tonight? Even though I was in a terrible situation at home, the money Noble had given me was enough for me to stay in a decent hotel outside.
Therefore, after a short moment of thought, I wanted to stop the butler. “Thank you. You don’t have to make arrangements for me. Actually, as long as you send me downtown, I can find a place to stay.”
But Ansir smiled. There was something playful and evil in that smile. “My car is the only way out of this entire estate at night, but I’m tired.” Then Ansir yawned and stretched. “If you’re determined to leave, you can walk back with your legs. Decide for yourself.”
“…” I choked.
Ansir clearly wanted to help me, and he did take me out of that embarrassing home just now, but he still didn’t change his temperament. He domineeringly arranged everything for others and didn’t give them a chance to choose.
Was this the after-effect of forcing others to do things after being the president of the Student Council for so long?
I gritted my teeth. “So is there a car leaving tomorrow morning?”
Ansir smiled. “That depends on my mood.”
The butler advised her appropriately, “Miss, please don’t be afraid. We are very safe here. Moreover, you are a guest invited by Young Master. We will definitely take good care of you.”
“I’m not worried about that…” There’s only one person here that’s the most dangerous to me, and that’s Ansir.
Ansir seemed to sense my wary gaze and raised an eyebrow unhappily. “Then what are you worried about? Afraid that I’ll eat you? If I wanted to do that, would you be able to live until today?”
“…” He didn’t sound like there was anything wrong with what he said… At that thought, I nodded. “Okay, I’ll stay.”
But Ansir added to the butler, “Give her the room at the end of the corridor on the second floor.”
The butler seemed very surprised. He looked at Ansir and was stunned for a moment. “But that room…”
Ansir’s narrow eyes squinted, and there was an indescribable excitement in his smile. “Give her that room. Don’t touch any of the furnishings.”
The butler did not ask any more questions and merely nodded before leaving.
I had a feeling that the butler’s reaction and Ansir’s smile weren’t right. However, I didn’t have any other choice. If I ran out of this villa, it would be in the wilderness. I would probably die in the wilderness at any moment or be hunted by ferocious beasts.
Under the guidance of the servant, Ansir and I arrived at the dining room.
The dishes on the dark red wooden table were sumptuous and exquisite. There were also a few bottles of wine and whiskey on the table.
However, because I was constantly thinking about my room, I didn’t eat the delicacies of the dishes, nor did I have the mood to taste the fine wine. After all, my alcohol tolerance really wasn’t that good. I was originally worried that Ansir would torture me, so how could I dare to get drunk?
The meal was very quiet. The servant had been carefully cutting steaks and foie gras for me. It wasn’t as thrilling as the last time I was in the castle.
Ansir was sitting right across from me, eating calmly, elegantly and methodically. He was a born aristocrat, so every movement and every frame was tainted with nobility.
It was no wonder so many girls liked him.
When I realized this thought, I subconsciously pinched my thigh. I couldn’t fall for him. He wasn’t a good person!
After a meal, Ansir got up and walked toward me.
The smile on his lips still gave me a hint of pressure, and I recoiled uneasily.
But all he did was take the whiskey from the table and shove it into my arms. “Take it.”
“I don’t drink.” I made myself look absolutely determined to reject him.
But Ansir only smiled. “You’ll find it useful.”
