- Chapter 4 - The World-Class Extra’s Walkthrough Chapter 4
I have no idea why I was brought into this world, but I had no reason to be scared.
‘I already know the beginning and the end of this game.’
Because I basically spent half of my life playing this game, I knew lots about what was happening in <W.A.G>.
Furthermore, if the game system I was familiar with was also implemented, I had nothing to be scared of.
[Player is given the starting reward.]
A game system flashed its message like it was sorry for being late.
Laughter came out naturally.
‘Hahaha, it’s okay, my head and body are at least still connected!’
I have no idea why I was put into the body of this NPC.
‘But at least I’m glad that I started before my head was cut off!’
Of course everything was ironic.
Once I stepped on the threshold of death, it felt like evil was boiling inside of me.
I felt like I could break anything as long it was within my grasp.
‘This is why people say people change once they face death.’
Kyaa! I didn’t know that until now.
I wish I still didn’t know it!
The assassins that were about to cut me down were all motionless as if the pause button were pressed.
Of course I wasn’t allowed to move very much either.
‘Right, come to think about it, it’s obvious that a character can’t move during the character creation screen.’
Instead, the camera was able to move, and the character pose could be changed.
As a result, I wasn’t able to do anything but receive the system message.
However, that was enough for me.
The message continued to be printed.
[3 stat points are awarded.]
[2 skill points are awarded.]
Stat points were used to improve a character’s abilities.
Skill points were used to learn a special skill.
‘This much was the basic rules that didn’t require explanation.’
[Quest ‘Escape a Crisis’ received.]
Quest was a process of giving a mission to the character for a reward.
‘Escape a crisis?’
Obviously this meant to survive in the situation I was in.
Instead of these familiar messages and explanations, I was thinking about something else.
‘This isn’t important to me right now.’
I could distribute the stat points and the skill points later and read the quest content later.
In fact, the most important thing right now was something else.
It was this.
[The first destiny card selection begins.]
[Dear player, please check the character’s destiny.]
I looked up on the sky.
There were about one thousand stars sparkling meticulously on the sky as if they were in another dimension.
There were bright light sources, all with different colors than each other, floating up on the night sky.
“Destiny card…”
Of course, this was also a familiar element to me.
Selecting a good ‘Destiny Card’.
This was the most important part of the character creation stage.
This card was sort of a class selection and content expansion pack.
It was a special reward that gave character bonus stats, special episodes, unique gear, and unique skill.
Card selection is simple.
‘3 cards are randomly selected out of 1024 cards, and the player chooses 1 out of the 3 cards that are selected.’
Then the chosen card is absorbed by the character.
That was it.
The next destiny card was picked at level 10, then another was picked at level 20.
‘Of course, you could earn more if you completed a special quest.’
But that meant, you had to take a special risk as well.
Therefore, selecting the first destiny card required both luck and prudence.
“The path of flower or the path of poop.’
…Or just an edge of a cliff.
It was all decided here.
Even though I had never been like this, my hands started shaking.
I took a deep breath.
“Whew.”
Whenever I was selecting a new card, I always shouted this while clicking on the night sky.
“…Luck skill game!”
Luck was also a skill.
‘It was a reward to those who were ready to take the opportunity.’
I have been thinking that way for some time.
Flash.
The night sky spewed out a flash of light.
The cards in the shape of a star drew one thousand circles and started spinning.
Now, how about this time?
Which card will fall into my hand?
[The card shuffling has begun.]
[May you have good fortunes in your destiny.]
As a result, that good fortune was…
It came into my hand, slapped my cheek and disappeared.
Damn it!
