Boring, so boring. It seemed that even the South Korean TV-series she had been looking forward to watching a couple of months ago was not that appealing any more.
Jian Sangyu quit the video app within twenty minutes, and then made a call to Jiang Xing, asking him to play a game online. Jian Sangyu had almost forgotten about Gu Chen’s existence.
Her cell-phone game was in silent mode, but Jian Sangyu had been so used to dubbing for the role she played that she kept cursing, making noise and scolding Jiang Xing for his terrible skills etc. Soon, she even gave up being cross-legged but laid on her front.
Due to Jiang Xing’s constant misbehaviour, their game mission failed. Jian Sangyu got so annoyed that she called Jiang Xing and cursed at him whilst kicking her two feet in a terrible mood. Unexpectedly, however, the pillow hit Gu Cheng right on his handsome face. Startled, Jian Sangyu hung up directly and dashed off to the bedroom without putting on her slippers.
She didn’t get to see the expression on Gu Chen’s face as he removed the pillow. But as far as Jian Sangyu suspected, he must have such a cloudy face that was almost as dark as hurricane thunderstorm clouds in the winter. She switched off the light instantly, refusing to look at him any more.
Gu Chen sat in the living room for a while. He was in a very weird mood. He took a look at the pillow that had hit his face and then landed on his knees; he frowned.
Jian Sangyu was the only woman who dared to kick things at his face, someone who would dash away after she did the deed.
Gu Chen took a look at the bedroom and was reminded of the way Jian Sangyu ran off. Then he couldn’t help but let out a smile.
This little girl had grown in age yet failed in brain maturation. If he really wanted to pick a fight with her. What was the use of running into the bedroom?
And she didn’t even lock the door. What was the point of running away?
Gu Chen tossed the pillow on his knees onto the sofa, rose up from his seat and walked into the bedroom. Seeing the woman pretending to be asleep in bed, he was not surprised. He took a look at the woman in bed, grabbed a towel and bathrobe and then walked into the bathroom. Jian Sangyu had felt her hair standing up the moment Gu Chen entered the room. She was not quite sure if he would hit people when he was seriously pissed off, but judging from the muscles she had seen before, she felt that if he did hit someone, that person would definitely suffer.
Fortunately, however, he headed towards the bathroom after standing at the door for a few seconds. He didn’t look that pissed.
Therefore, Jian Sangyu realized that what the senior citizens had said to her before – men of a senior mental age often knew how to forgive.
If anyone dared to kick a pillow at Jian Sangyu’s face, she would go out and kill him, for sure.
It was a good thing that Gu Chen was not that bad-tempered.
Feeling that the danger alarm was no longer wailing, Jian Sangyu stuck her head out of the blanket. She was so red in face after hiding under the blanket for so long. She stood up, lowered the temperature of the air-conditioning in the room, and happened to find that the noise in the bathroom had stopped. She again dashed into the bed and covered herself up, pretending to be asleep.
