Chapter 27: Maximum Level Gale Combo!
Without the skeleton commander, no matter how many skeletons there were, they were nothing more than a pile of scattered sand. The only outcome would be to be killed or enslaved by Bruce and become his underling.
This war did not last long, but the dangers were not any less.
The skeleton commander’s own combat strength, with the skeleton mages under its command, was enough to pose a fatal threat to Bruce.
Fortunately, he won.
After killing the skeleton commander, the entire skeleton army became his spoils of war.
Following that, Bruce was not in a hurry to absorb the skeleton commander’s bones. Instead, he returned to the battlefield, killed, and subdued the remaining elite skeletons of the skeleton army into his own forces.
Half an hour had passed. Other than a dozen elite skeletons that had already been killed, the remaining elite skeletons were all enslaved by Bruce and became his skeleton underlings.
There were even more advanced skeletons.
When he had more than enough skeleton generals and skeleton warrior underlings, the remaining skeleton soldiers were all killed and became the experience points for Bruce and his underlings to grow.
After doing all this, Bruce returned to the center of the battlefield.
—
“You have absorbed the essence of the skeleton. Your body has become stronger.”
“Your strength has increased by 25 points.”
“Your agility has increased by 18 points.”
“Your vitality has increased by 32 points.”
“Your spirit has increased by 5 points.”
“You have obtained the class change information of the warrior class template, skeleton commander.”
—
After all, it is a true warrior class.
Even though Bruce’s four-dimensional attributes had increased significantly compared to before, after absorbing the essence of the skeleton commander’s skeleton, his four-dimensional attributes had still increased significantly.
Of course.
More importantly, he had also obtained the first material for the synthesized warrior class, which was the skeleton commander’s class template.
Compared to other warrior class templates, the four-dimensional attributes of the skeleton commander class were not very high. But that was an objective assessment. Compared to the elite class template that Bruce had, the four-dimensional attributes of the skeleton commander class were still very high.
—
[ template ] : Skeleton Commander
[ rank ] : Warrior class template
[ bonus ] : health + 5,000, strength * 45, agility * 30, vitality * 70, spirit * 5
[ skill ] : encouragement
“Encouragement: Active Skill. As a high-level undead, upon entering the battlefield, the skeleton commander could release the aura of death in its body and bestow it upon the skeletons under its command. In a short period of time, its attack power, attack speed, and movement speed would be greatly increased.
—
Compared to the elite-ranked Skeleton Warfield, the four-dimensional attributes of the skeleton commander were three to four times higher. Compared to the exclusive class template that Bruce had obtained, it was still a lot higher!
With such a high-class template bonus, the gap between the warrior and elite ranks was further widened.
However, Bruce’s attention did not linger on the warrior class template for too long.
Regardless of whether the warrior class template’s bonus was strong or weak, it was the material needed to synthesize Bruce’s exclusive warrior class template.
After tasting the sweetness of class integration, even if there was a top-tier warrior class template in front of him, Bruce would not change classes rashly.
After the absorption of the skeleton commander’s skeleton, he also absorbed the essence of the other elite skeletons he killed on the battlefield. After allowing his four-dimensional attributes to increase, Bruce looked at his attributes panel.
Now, he already had 11 Omni points!
With his current strength, only about two elite skeletons could provide him with 1 Omni point.
In this war, Bruce had personally killed 12 elite skeletons. These 12 elite skeletons provided him with 6 Omni points.
As a warrior-ranked skeleton, that skeleton alone provided Bruce with 5 Omni points!
Thus, the total number of Omni points that Bruce had now reached 11 points.
It was worth mentioning that when the attributes panel showed the number of Omni points, Bruce needed to carefully consider whether to kill or enslave the skeleton’s underlings—just like the skeleton commander that he had just killed.
By enslaving it, Bruce would certainly gain a powerful combat strength, which would greatly reduce the pressure on him when hunting other brave earth skeletons in the future. The number of skeleton underlings under him would also soar.
However, with the time it would take to enslave them, he would probably lose enough EXP and Omni points to make his heart ache for a long time.
Before he obtained enough Omni points, Bruce was more inclined to kill the warrior skeletons and elite skeletons to increase his strength with the Omni points.
Unless it was something extremely precious or something that he really needed, Bruce would enslave them and turn them into his skeleton underlings. For example, he could use the only surviving terrifying mage, the elite class skeleton archer, and the three skeleton generals that could assist Bruce in commanding the skeleton underlings.
Other than that, all the skeletons, whether they were skeleton soldiers, advanced skeletons, or elite skeletons, were all killed by Bruce and his skeleton underlings. They all became nutrients for their growth.
11 Omni points—it wasn’t much, but it wasn’t little either.
Now that all the matters on the battlefield had been settled, Bruce could calm down. With the Omni points he had just obtained, he could once again increase his strength!
He opened his skill panel.
Sky-Splitter and Gale Combo—it was still the same two skills.
Before he obtained more warrior class templates and fused them with his own warrior class templates, he only had these two skills.
Bruce could add points separately and raise these two skills to Level 7 or 8. He could also choose to max out one of the skills and then raise the other skill.
It seemed that there was no need to choose at all.
Letting out a long breath in his heart, Bruce focused his attention on the “Wind combo” skill.
Obviously, for the target of the Hunter warrior skeleton, Gale Combo was more effective than Sky Splitter.
1 Omni point consumption.
The level of Gale Combo was raised from Level 5 to Level 6. The consumption of stamina was further reduced, and the total amount of damage it could deal increased once again.
He continued to add points.
2 Omni points consumption.
—
[ Gale Combo ] had been upgraded from Level 6 to Level 7.
[ third point of cost: Omni Points ]
[ Gale Combo ] had been upgraded from Level 7 to level 8.
—
After taking a look at the description of [ Gale Combo ], which had been upgraded three times, Bruce did not hesitate. He once again invested 2 Omni points into it and directly upgraded the skill to the maximum level of Level 10!
At this moment, the number of light blades that were unleashed by the Gale Combo had reached 12! The total damage that was caused by the 12 light blades was 12 times more than the normal damage!
It had almost doubled!
If Bruce were to face that skeleton commander again, the burst of the Gale Combo would probably be enough to make it lose its combat ability.
However, looking at the Gale Combo that had been upgraded to the max level of Level 10, Bruce was a little confused.
The small “+” behind this skill did not disappear with the maximum level of the skill. It still existed. It seemed to mean that he could still put his Omni points into the skill!
