Wife Please Be Obedient - Chapter 34
Chapter 34: You Believe That It’s Advisable to Amputate Your Limbs Because Of A Flu?
Qin Guanglin waited for a moment. When he saw that He Fang was not getting better, he poured the water in the bowl into her cup and turned to leave the room.
“I’ll ask if there are any good methods.”
“Don’t…” He Fang could not stop him in time. She could only watch as he ran off to look for Mother Qin.
How could he ask Mother Qin what to do with such things… He Fang sighed and buried her head in the blanket. She did not intend to lift her head anymore.
“She went out despite the rainy weather.” Qin Guanglin went around the house but could not find Mother Qin. Irritated, he opened his laptop. “Wait for me. I’ll look it up.”
“I already said I’d be fine, eventually.” He Fang lifted her head from the blanket. “Don’t waste your time.”
“So much time has already passed.” Qin Guanglin regretted it when he saw that she had bitten her lips so hard that there was a mark on it. Why did she eat watermelon?!
“You’re overreacting.” He Fang hugged the pillow in her arms. It looked as if she was already feeling better.
“Hot water is used to make a compress!” Qin Guanglin slapped his thigh and turned his head to look at her. “Who told you to drink it?”
He Fang rolled her eyes. “Do you know better, or do I know better?”
“Baidu knows!” Qin Guanglin stood up again to look for an airtight bottle.
“If you believe Baidu, you’re going to have to prepare a coffin for the flu.” After getting better, He Fang had more to say too.
“Quick, pooh pooh pooh!” Qin Guanglin was displeased. “How could you say such ominous words?”
“Pooh!” He Fang turned around and ignored him.
He searched the entire room before going out to look around. Qin Guanglin sat back down in front of his computer as he grabbed his hair. There was no airtight bottle at home that he could use as a hot water compress.
“Oh, this looks reasonable.” Qin Guanglin stood up and planned to help her again. But then he paused in hesitation.
“What do you want to do again?” He Fang asked weakly. “Don’t do that… Hmph!” Before she could finish, her body suddenly curled up again. She clenched her teeth tightly, her face deathly pale.
“You’ll get better after some massage. That’s the quickest way.” Hearing that He Fang felt hurt all over again, Qin Guanglin rushed to the bed. He locked his hands together and started rubbing them against each other.
With much difficulty, He Fang turned to look at him. “Are you… trying to… take advantage of me again?”
“Stop spouting nonsense!” Qin Guanglin thought that the friction had warmed up his hands. He hastily said, “At this juncture, do you think I’ll take advantage of you?”
“Close the door.” He Fang forced out three words. She held her stomach and did not continue talking.
While rubbing his hands, Qin Guanglin walked to the door and kicked it close. He then came back and smoothed his warm hand under her clothes. He felt an icy chill.
“Hm…” He Fang whined. She grabbed his hand and shifted it downwards. “It hurts here.”
Qin Guanglin exerted some force with his hands and gently massaged her. “Here?”
He Fang nodded. She closed her eyes without saying a word.
He crouched beside the bed and massaged her for a few minutes. Seeing that she was slowly relaxing, Qin Guanglin’s brow gradually eased. He instinctively let out a long exhale. “Feel better?”
“Much better.” He Fang opened her eyes. “You can remove your hands now.”
“I’ll massage you for a bit longer. Otherwise, you’ll start hurting again later.” Qin Guanglin removed his hands and started rubbing them vigorously to make them hotter. “I’m definitely not taking advantage of you.”
“You are.” He Fang’s face had not regained its flush and was still pale. But her expression was much more relaxed.
“I am if you say I am.”
Qin Guanglin did not want to argue with a patient. Feeling his hands all warm again, he reached under her clothes and massaged her. It was all the rotten watermelon’s fault. He would eat all of them up tonight.
“Does it feel good?” He Fang placed her little hand over Qin Guanglin’s hand and pressed it as a gesture for him to exert more force.
“Looks like you’re really fine now.” Qin Guanglin pursed his lips. She was even in the mood to tease him.
“Men and women shouldn’t casually touch each other. You’re taking liberties with me.” Although He Fang no longer felt that much pain, she still had not regained her strength and even spoke gently and weakly.
“How can you call it taking liberties if we’re a couple?”
Qin Guanglin spoke in an unpleasant tone, but her words directed his attention to her hands. They were indeed quite pleasant to touch. They were exquisite, smooth, and soft.
Girls seemed to be soft all over. They were like balloons filled with water – No, they were even softer than that, and more exquisite too.
When He Fang sensed that his movements had slowed, she narrowed her eyes. “You’re up to something again.”
“I’m not!” Qin Guanglin denied it.
He paused before continuing, “Even if I am, it’s because you deliberately made me do it.”
Why was this lass so alert? She noticed the moment he lost concentration.
“Move your hands away.” He Fang pulled his hands off her. “If you continue touching me, you’re taking liberties with me.”
“Hmph. Doctors have the hearts of parents, you know?” Qin Guanglin took the cup at the head of the bed and tested the temperature. He then turned and walked out again. “I’ll get you a cup of hot water.”
He Fang lay on the bed and stared blankly at his back. Afterward, she suddenly started smiling.
“Sit up. Hold it and drink slowly.” With both hands, Qin Guanglin passed the boiling-hot water to her.
“It’s so hot,” complained He Fang, but she still took a sip.
“The hotter, the better.” Qin Guanglin glanced at his hands and looked up. “Oh. If I held the cup briefly, my hands would be warmer compared to if I rubbed them, right?”
“You have to go outside and change it to a glass.” He Fang was holding an insulated flask.
Qin Guanglin nodded. “I’ll do that next time.”
“You’re still thinking about the next time?” He Fang glared at him.
“Pooh, pooh, pooh. There won’t be a next time.” He had misspoken. Hurting once was enough, so he would not make her eat watermelon next time.
“Your cup is full of your odor, too.” He Fang tried to take another sip, but it was still hot. So, she found another reason to complain.
“You only remembered it was smelly after drinking so much.”
She did not know what Qin Guanglin was thinking about as he looked at her hands. He even twirled his fingers.
“What are you thinking about?” Upon seeing his minute movements, He Fang reached out and pinched him at his waist. “You’re recollecting the feel of my hands?”
“You still say you’re not a demon?!” Qin Guanglin nearly sprang up.
She was reading his mind, right? Why couldn’t he hide anything from her?!
“You must respect Teacher He.” He Fang placed the cup at the head of the bed and lay down again. “Don’t think about things you shouldn’t be thinking about. You can’t hide anything from me.”
“That Daoist magic you were talking about, is it easy to learn?” Qin Guanglin leaned in close and asked. He felt that this trick was really useful, for it was literally unparalleled.
He Fang shook her head. “It isn’t easy to learn. You must be an exceptional prodigy, like me. Only then can you learn about thirty percent of it.”
“Thirty percent of it is already so impressive?!” Qin Guanglin exclaimed in admiration. If he learned all of it, wouldn’t he be able to levitate?
“Yes.” He Fang nodded solemnly. “If you learn everything, you can be like our ancestor Chen Tuan. He slept for eight hundred years and became immortal.”
Qin Guanglin scrutinized her. “I think you’re about to become immortal.”
This world was full of prodigies. Whether they had a photographic memory or high intelligence, prodigies of different kinds probably existed. But those kinds of people seemed to be destined for great things. They would turn out to be prominent figures in the future. How could they possibly be in a relationship with a poor artist like him?
All geniuses were eccentric. Could this be a unique preference of hers? In that case, he had really picked up a treasure, and an unrivaled one at that.
He Fang smiled. “I’m a fairy that landed on earth. A dumb mortal like you got a bargain.”
“Could you be the river snail I set free a thousand years ago? That has returned to repay my kindness?” Qin Guanglin stroked his chin and considered this possibility. “Or… Tsk, you pinched me again!”
“You’re the river snail spirit.” He Fang massaged him after pinching him. “A fairy. You know what a fairy is?”
“Mi Fei!” Qin Guanglin’s senses were jolted. “You’re the reincarnation of Luo Deity!”
“That’s more like it.” He Fang nodded in satisfaction.
Qin Guanglin smacked his lips and kissed her. “I managed to kiss the living Luo Deity. My life is complete.”
“You used your smelly saliva on Luo Deity. You’re dead meat.” He Fang turned the other side of her face towards him. “Here, too.”
