Chapter 21: Heating Up
Time flew by. It was already the 11th day since Maas arrived in the wilderness.
These days, the system had given Maas a lot of knowledge, allowing him to easily adapt to the wilderness.
But Maas could not understand why he had been chosen.
Or perhaps this was fate! Just like the anaconda that suddenly appeared at the trap line.
After waking up, Maas first accepted today’s signing reward, “Tongzi oil press technology (elementary)”
“?”
“Tongzi Oil? Press technology.”
“What’s the use of Tongzi Oil?” Maas could not help but say these two sentences.
Shirley, who was beside him, immediately heard Maas’ words and immediately explained, “Tongzi oil is the same as diesel oil, its function is exactly the same!”
“But most of the time, the pressed Tong Zi Oil is better than diesel oil.”
Sensing the gentleness behind him, Maas did not dare to move. He did not know when Sherry had fallen asleep next to him.
Recalling what happened last night, their relationship suddenly heated up and they hugged each other.
So much so that Maas, who had just woken up, still felt that everything was a dream.
It was not until this gentle feeling was restored that he regained the memories of last night.
Thus, Maas immediately turned around and kissed Shirley’s forehead.
“Hmm! What are you doing so early in the morning? I’m already tired from last night. Let me rest for a while!”
Although the two of them did not enter the final stage, they still touched around for a long time.
“I’ll get up first to exercise. You can sleep for a while more!”
“Okay!” After replying softly, Shirley turned over and fell asleep on the other side.
After getting up, Maas went directly to the new camp and started to practice a set of strange fist techniques.
It seemed very simple, just a few moves.
However, the speed was abnormally fast. If the camera didn’t slow down his movements, it would be impossible to see the trajectory of all his moves.
The entire set of movements took thirty minutes. It seemed to be easy, but Maas was already drenched in sweat.
“Hu! ~”
“This set of wildernerss fighting techniques has consumed too much energy!”
This set of movements had consumed too much energy, and he had no choice but to stop.
He picked up the leather cloth that had been dried by the sun and wiped his hair that was completely soaked in sweat.
After touching his hair, Maas was very glad that he had always had a buzz cut before he came to the wilderness.
When he returned to the camp, Maas found that Shirley had not woken up yet, so he picked up the tools on the side and went to the camp not far away.
He cut down a few trees that were as thick as an arm and moved all the trees back to the camp.
After sawing all the trees into a meter long or so, he cut them all in half.
After making more than ten, Maas picked up a relatively thin wooden stick and inserted it into the ground, drawing a round shape on the flat stone ground.
After doing all this, Mas found a tree that was about the same size as the round shape and cut it down directly.
Then he used the military shovel in his hand to cut the tree horizontally.
Fortunately, the diameter of the tree was not too wide. It was easy to cut it off with the military shovel.
He took the piece of wood to a stone and drew a picture. After confirming that it was about the same size, Maas took out a dagger and began to modify the disc.
“From the looks of it, I will be able to make a wooden bucket soon!”
Initially, Maas did not want to make this thing, but with the addition of Shirley, the amount of water they used increased.
Moreover, women liked to clean their bodies, so Maas had to think about all of this.
After the chassis was made, Maas made some modifications to the edges of the same length of wood.
The semicircle face was all toward the inside of the barrel, and the flat face was all toward the outside.
He compared the wood disc with the treated wood, sawed a small hole in the same length of wood, and then aligned the saw exit to the edge of the disc.
After several attempts, the wood completely fitted the disc. He tookout a thick braided rope and strained the semicircular boards to the disc.
Then, he checked if there was any gap at the edges of the disc.
After making sure there was no gap, he used another rope to tighten two-thirds of the already formed barrel.
Just like that, a barrel was made by Maas.
It was about fifty centimeters in diameter and one meter high.
Most barrels were made with flat boards because there was no tool to flatten the wood in the wild.
Therefore, the barrel that was made looked very rough inside, but this did not affect the use of the barrel.
As soon as it was finished, Shirley came to his side.
Seeing the thing in Maas’ hand, Shirley shouted excitedly, “You actually made a wooden barrel!”
After holding the wooden barrel for a few rounds, she immediately circled Maas, who was sitting on the ground, and kissed his forehead.
After receiving this wonderful treatment, Maas focused on making the wooden barrel and even forgot to eat breakfast.
By the time the sun was shining, he had already made four wooden buckets that were about the same size.
At this time, Shirley became more and more obsessed. She even forgot her purpose and just enjoyed every day with Maas.
After lunch, Maas and Shirley first fetched four buckets of water from the river in the south. After that, they started working in the camp.
With Sherry’s help, Maas’ work got faster and faster, and in one afternoon, they had finished building a wall.
They lined it with bamboo, and then filled it with rocks and wet soil, but they were only half done.
To make the wall very strong, they had to fill it with dried vegetables and firewood on both sides.
They lit a fire and let them burn.
When the fire was about to die out, it was repeatedly filled with wood.
After many times, the wall made of stone and mud would become extremely strong!
Through Maas’ actions, Shirley learned a lot of knowledge.
But what puzzled her was where this knowledge came from!
‘Have I already deviated from the world?’
In her eyes, Maas became more and more mysterious.
With a complicated look, Shirley came to the edge of the big rock and sat there, looking into the distance.
‘What should I do!’
After drinking a mouthful of water at the edge of the old camp, Maas came to her side with the mosquito repellent.
“You just took a shower. Put this on your skin!”
“Although this thing tastes a little strange, its repellent effect is first-class.”
Looking at Maas’ warm smile, Shirley became even more confused.
She immediately stood up and hugged Maas, saying, “Do you think I’m beautiful?”
Maas whispered in her ear, “Of course. From the first time I saw you, I felt that you were very special.”
“A long time ago, when I went to the north to look for bamboo, I noticed your existence.”
“At that time, I was on a tree not far from you and I looked at you for more than an hour.”
“Actually, from that time on, I had already imprinted your figure in my mind!”
After saying that, Maas suddenly felt a little awkward, so he asked, “Am I a little perverted?”
Shirley smiled and said, “If one day you find out that I’m not who you think I am, I hope you can still treat me like this!”
Before Maas could react, Shirley directly kissed him deeply.
“You’re really a fool, that’s why you’re always being used!”
“Why did I meet you!”
At this moment, Shirley had already fallen deeply in love.
On the eleventh day, the number of participants was 560/1000. They ranked top 10 in the regional competition and 78th in the world.
