“I had something to do. I had asked for time off from Director Wang. You didn’t know?” Gu Xiao Xiao took off her jacket and looked over to the unmoving young master of the house. She dragged him down by brute force.

The two came to the study room one by one and sat down next to each other. Wang Zi Xuan was looking very unwilling to learn today, making Gu Xiao Xiao helpless.

Gu Xiao Xiao wasn’t sure how many tutors were hired before her. But according to the caretaking lady, this boy chased out many tutors before she came. Gu Xiao Xiao was the longest lasting one.

“What we studying today? Math?” Gu Xiao Xiao flipped around the books on his desk and asked, “You had a test recently right? Where is it? Let me see.”

“Aren’t you tired of talking so much?” Wang Zi Xuan glared at her. But he still obeyed, found his test, and threw it before her.

Gu Xiao Xiao looked it over and said with a smile, “You did a lot better than last time. At this rate, you will ace your test next year.”

“I wouldn’t have had a problem anyway. I don’t know what you are all worried about.” Wang Zi Xuan leaned back into his chair and crossed his arms. He looked up in disdain, “If the old man didn’t force me to come back, why would I need to go through so many hardships.”

Wang Zi Xuan grew up internationally and had an untamable personality. After graduating from junior high, he was forced to return by his dad. He did his three years of high school back in China and his father wanted him to complete his four years of university in China as well.

“Let’s study English today!” Wang Zi Xuan suddenly moved forward until he was right in front of Gu Xiao Xiao.

“Don’t play games with me. Why would you need me to teach you English?” Gu Xiao Xiao glared at him and then pushed back his head. “You are still weaker in math and chemistry. Pick one and let’s get started.”

They did as she announced. Wang Zi Xuan finally started the tutoring session, which made Gu Xiao Xiao sigh in relief. They studied seriously and before they knew it, it was 9.

After checking the time, Gu Xiao Xiao closed her books and rose up.

“Remember to complete the homework I left you. I will inspect it next time.”

Wang Zi Xuan followed Gu Xiao Xiao out and picked up his jacket. He raced her to the door and said, “It’s so late, let me walk you back to school.”

“You child! Why would I need you to walk me!” Gu Xiao Xiao rejected his good intention, “Plus, I’m not going back to school today. I live near here now, it’s very close.”

“You don’t live on campus anymore?” Wang Xi Xuan frowned, “How come I didn’t know about this? You are renting off-campus? Then why not live at my house? It’d be much easier.”

“Thank you, young master of the house, I accept your niceness.” Gu Xiao Xiao left while smiling. Unexpectantly, Wang Zi Xuan followed her. No matter what Gu Xiao Xiao said, he refused to go back inside and demanded to find out where she lives.

Gu Xiao Xiao didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. The two of them wasted half an hour by the community entrance.

A black car was driving towards them and then stopped beside Gu Xiao Xiao. Gu Xiao Xiao looked over and the car window rolled down. He saw Chu Yi Chen’s face.

“Why are you here?” Gu Xiao Xiao asked in surprise.

“Get on.” Chu Yi Chen opened the door on Gu Xiao Xiao’s side, “Grandma is waiting for you at home.”

“Oh.” Gu Xiao Xiao nodded and prepared to enter the car. But when she had one foot in the car, Wang Zi Xuan grabbed her arm.

“Who is he?” Wang Zi Xuan grabbed onto Gu Xiao Xiao’s arm and refused to let go. He looked over to Chu Yi Chen with his eagle eyes and asked coldly.
