Chapter 57: The Second Young Master of the Chu Family

Jin Jing froze where she stood for a long while then stomped her feet a little. Marching into the coffee shop in giant steps, she stood before Mu Yun Fan.

“Yun Fan.” Speaking gently, Jin Jing pulled on Mu Yun Fan’s clothes, “I understand I am wrong. I won’t play with you like that again. Can you stop being mad at me?”

Mu Yun Fan glared at her. Jin Jing still had undried tears on her cheeks and had a small frown on her face. Mu Yun Fan stood up and Jin Jing held onto his arm.

“We will be good to each other from now on and let’s not fight anymore.” Jin Jing happily placed her head on Mu Yun Fan and said, “After the new year, we will be married. When that happens, we’ll go to England. Nothing that happens here will concern us and we won’t need to think about anyone here ever again.”

Her words finally softened the way Mu Yun Fan looked at her. Picking up the bags of stuff Jin Jing had bought, he headed outside as well.

After changing, it was about time for the banquet to start.

Jin Jing had curled her hair and placed them on one side. She wore a Valentino evening dress, paired with a Bulgari serpent watch. She looked wealthy, graceful, and beautiful. Beside her, Mu Yun Fan wore an iron-grey suit with a snug dress shirt and long pants. Because the clothes were worn by him, they looked even more handsome and lively.

Jin Jing has participated in many similar banquets with her father before. Plus, every time she comes, she would dress really well, which allowed her to leave great impressions on everyone. Mu Yun Fan, however, was a brand new face.

Jin Jing held onto her wine glass and gracefully walked into the main hall while introducing Mu Yun Fan to everyone.

More and more people gathered inside and the atmosphere was getting rowdier and rowdier. People gathered in pairs and crowds, all of whom were complimenting each other, formally conversing with each other, faking, and waiting.

The main character of tonight’s banquet was for sure Feng Yang Corporation’s Chu Yi Chen. He is the second son of the Chu family and everyone calls him young master Chu. Plus, his older brother holds a high position in the military making him a heroic and wealthy character.

Out of everyone who came to the banquet, including Jin Jing and Mu Yun Fan, they all wanted to see the real face of this young master Chu with their own eyes. If possible, they wanted to familiarize themselves with him. After all, all those who are able to form a connection with Feng Yang Corporation and earn a project with them always makes a profit, never a loss.

Jin Jing’s gaze frequently shot towards the entrance. Time went by little by little. People waited and waited and by the time it was around 9 pm, he finally showed up.

Chu Yi Chen paced into the main hall while talking to Xu Ming in a low voice. The main hall was clamorous, but the moment he appeared, it went silent. Chu Yi Chen sensed this change and looked up to give the room a glance.

Jin Jing was standing near the entrance. Once she caught sight of the handsome man standing beside Xu Ming, light exuded from her eyes.

Jin Jing never lacked men who are good looking. Mu Yun Fan, who was standing by her, is also one of the top ones. But no matter who it is, they all lacked a little something when compared to the man who just walked in.

He wore a casual black suit and his eyes were sharp and deep. His nose was straight and his lips were light in color. His temperament was lowkey and simple, but nobody could ignore his alpha aura.

Ever since Chu Yi Chen returned, he has pushed back countless of these boring gatherings. But he couldn’t do anything about today’s gathering, so he had to come here and do this.

His cold gaze scanned the crowds. After recognizing several familiar faces and nodding at them, he walked forward.
