Chapter 58: Hello Chairman Chu, I am Jin Jing

“I thought you weren’t coming today.” Feng Zi Heng walked over to Chu Yi Chen and teased, “Han Yi and I were just discussing how if you don’t show up, we were going to go to your house and have some fun.”

“What’s there to do for fun at my place?” Chu Yi Chen took over the glass Feng Zi Heng handed over and said mindlessly.

“We aren’t sure of that yet.” Feng Zi Heng exchanged glances with Han Yi and snickered, “We were thinking maybe we would run into some pretty girl and have you owe us another favor.”

“Yi Chen, how come you didn’t bring the person you said you would introduce to us?” Han Yi asked in a whisper.

“She doesn’t suit this kind of setting. I’ll introduce you another time.”

“True, this really isn’t the most suitable time.” Xu Ming remembered Gu Xiao Xiao and chimed in with a smile.

“You’ve met her separately?” Feng Zi Heng asked Xu Ming, “When did that happen? Why didn’t you tell us?”

“If I want to, I can see her every day.” Xu Ming’s tone carried visible gloating, “You two can bribe me and be nice to me. When I’m happy enough, I’ll introduce you to her.”

Chu Yi Chen and his friends chatted nicely. Outsiders couldn’t interrupt to get into their circle but they all watched closely.

Chu Yi Chen and Xu Ming were top-level figures in Feng Yang Corporation. Rumor has it that they were childhood friends. As for Feng Zi Heng and Han Yi, one of them was a newly appointed Chief of Enforcement Contingent of China Securities Regulatory Commission. The other was so high up in the Public Security Department that his words were people’s commands.

These four people were the typical second-generation wealth. Nobody has been able to break into their circle.

Chu Yi Chen listened to Xu Ming and the other three tease him and didn’t respond. The corner of his lips curled up and he had no plans to say anything to them. Suddenly, he heard someone’s greeting from behind.

“Chairman Chu.”

Chu Yi Chen looked back and faintly smiled, “Director Wang, it’s been a while.”

The one greeting him was Wang Kai, the director of Hao Yuan International. Chu Yi Chen saw his son a couple of days ago and the memory of his son was rather intriguing.

“It truly has been a while. The last time we met was a couple of years ago in the states. I heard you returned but I never got a chance to see you. Today, I have finally run into you.”

Wang Kai and Chu Yi Chen chatted well. It went so well that all those who wanted to try and squeeze a conversation in with Chu Yi Chen felt encouraged. All of them became high spirited and wanted to try and talk to him.

Chu Yi Chen and Wang Kai talked for a while. Then, using his peripheral vision, he saw two people walk by. Those two people were Jin Jing and Mu Yun Fan.

“Hello Chairman Chu, I am Jin Jing from Jing Shi Group. It is a pleasure to meet you.”

Jin Jing smiled at Chu Yi Chen with a friendly smile. She spoke softly as she introduced herself and extended her hand towards Chu Yi Chen.

Chu Yi Chen’s gaze glanced over her face and he also caught sight of Mu Yun Fan, who was standing behind her. It was as if he never saw Jin Jing’s hand that was suspending in midair and he had no intention of having any physical contact with her.

This is the first time Chu Yi Chen has met Mu Yun Fan himself. He was basically the same as how he thought he would look like.

“Director Wang, I have some other things to deal with so I will go back first. I will call you some other time in private. We’ll set up a meeting then.”

Chu Yi Chen’s glance quickly returned to Wang Kai. He then treated Jin Jing and Mu Yun Fan like air and ignored them.

“Alright, then you go ahead.” Wang Kai was considerate and quickly nodded. Then, he brushed shoulders against Jin Jing and Mu Yun Fan on his way out.
